I kept looking at this sweater, but passed it up several times because of the wool content. Instead I ordered a cotton sweater, which I was not happy either. Finally, I ordered this sweater and found it to be exactly the sweater I wanted. It is well made with a dense knit and a beautiful blend of heather colors. The fit is perfect. Yes, I can feel the wool in the blend, but it's comfortable with a light tee layer. It is a great casual look with jeans on a cold winter day.

I love this sweater, perfect true to size fit, very soft, stylish, warm and comfortable! I love the texture and it holds it's shape well. Wish I had ordered another before they sold out!

I love this sweater! It fits great and I plan to order another one in another color. I was concerned that it would be scratchy since it is wool, but it is so soft and comfortable. I would highly recommend this sweater!

I bought this slightly-fitted, medium weight sweater in both the turtle and cardigan styles, avocado and russet respectively. I adore the colors and the "Heather" yarns, which subtly combine various shades of the main color to give them a richer look. Rust or russet is "my" color and I was so happy to see it in the store! (Now, can you do Bayside cords in that color?) Anyway, the cable design is attractive and the high turtle collar is pretty, but can be a bit itchy under the chin. Perhaps it should be a bit lower if you revise the style. Or fleece lined. One slight complaint- After about 2 months of ownership I have noticed considerable "pilling" under the arms with wear (both sweaters) so the fiber is not tip top quality. Still happy with it

This sweater is substantial, but doesn't look bulky when worn. It's certainly warm!
The green color was out of stock when I ordered the skirt (in eggplant plaid), but became available a few hours later. I received both items today, and am thrilled with the outfit!

Okay, I may seem a bit over the top about this sweater, but the fact is, the sweater is that good! So good in fact, that my daughter-in-law complemented me on it, and she hates me. I had pretty much stopped buying from LL Bean because in my opinion the quality had gone downhill. After several years I decided to try them again and I am so pleased to report that the quality of my recent purchases has returned to the way it used to be. You should treat yourself to this sweater, or maybe your daughter-in-law?

This is a very attractive sweater. But my wife's weakened condition means that it is unsatisfactory for her. It is very heavy on her shoulders and requiring hand washing means that it will be just too much for her to handle. Looked good on her, too.

I loved the look of the sweater, thick and stylish. But I couldn't get thru the day with it on. It was very uncomfortable due to the fibers in the threads...it caused my skin to itch.
