comfortable, the collar is a little different but I like it and it is the perfect weight for a casual day in a cool office. holds up well in the wash.

I would like to see LL Bean bring back the mens Fitness Fleece. This was one of my favorite products and was sad to see it not available. Please bring back Fitness Fleece, I like the full zip and quarter zip style. Thanks Neil

Got this as a Christmas gift, and am wondering what it is? Found it online with the sweathshirts, which was my third guess after shirt and sweater. What the heck is up with the collar? You button it and choke yourself, or turn it down and have it riding back up. The picture looks like you're just supposed to stand there with your collar at half mast. No man would buy this for himself! Buy a sweatshirt, buy a sweater, buy a polo -- buy something that you can wear in peace!

This product looks and feels great. After receiving the ink grey shirt and falling in love with it I ordered the olive one also. They have become my favorite cold weather casual shirts. Much warmer and softer than a sweatshirt. I am very active outdoors year round, running, hiking, hunting etc... and I would highly recommend this shirt to a friend.

This is a lightweight fleece made with densely woven material. The fit is tighter than a normal LL Bean fleece--call it "athletic." I like the buttons at the neck very much and the feel is almost like a sweatshirt. The unusual pattern design issue put aside ( I suppose it mimics the Bean Norwegian sweater pattern), the biggest criticism I have is: NO elastic at wrists, NO drawcord at the hem, and the price is much too high in comparison to other LLB fleece with the features I have mentioned of the same or even heavier fabric.
Also, note that the pattern is not entirely distinct so that in some places it looks blurry, as if it has been stretched.
Caveat emptor.
