I love the knit of this sweater and the style. However, for me, it does run small. I am a bit over 5' 7" and wear a large in LL Bean because I need the arm and torso length. This sweater was a bit too short in the arms and body for me.

I just received this sweater as a Christmas gift and was surprised to find that it fits very differently than all of my other LLB cotton cardigans. I have several, all size Medium, and they all fit great and are a bit roomy. This one is much more fitted, both through the body and on the arms. It still fits, but not as "comfy" as my others. I think a large would be too big, but I'm hoping it doesn't shrink at all when washed because then it may be too small. If you like your sweaters roomy, you might want to order a size up for this one.

I love this sweater! I got it in red, planning to wear it mostly as an unbuttoned cardigan. It's perfect in that style, but also looks great partially buttoned. And then if you button it all the way up, it turns into a flattering turtleneck! It's well made, the color is rich, and the knit fabric is substantial. I'm going to be enjoying this versatile garment for a long time to come!

The sweater was a gift and was liked immediately upon opening the box. It arrived on time, just as they said it would. It has a nice fit, feels really comfortable (like an old friend!), and is warm and cozy. The recipient even said the buttons are easy to button (big enough to grab with arthritic hands). Thanks for making it easy on me (gift buyer).

Unfortunately and to my wife's disappointment, the sizes for this garment do not appear to run true. She returned the first sweater, ordered a seconded and had to return it as well. She's out $13.00 for return postage and short one Christmas gift. In fairness, she was pleased with the sweater itself but disappointed by the cut and sizing.

Sweater was wonderful quality and beautifully made. HOWEVER, the sleeves are much too slim and the overall cut is too slim. A cardigan is designed to wear OVER another shirt/blouse and it simply didn't fit, much too tight and uncomfortable. I always wear a Medium (slim, size 12) and buy many LLBean products but will be sending this back (at my expense!!). Very disappointed!

LOVE IT! Perfect red color. Comfortable cotton that doesn't itch. Collar keeps neck warm. Length is perfect. Fit is good.
