I just got my robe yesterday and have not had it off since. I own Bean boots, socks, shoes, slippers, shirts, and bags. This robe is my new favorite item. It is so warm and comfortable, you just don't want to take it off. It's like your favorite sweatshirt...only longer. I'm seriously thinking about buying another one so I'll have it in case these are no longer carried by Bean. Like I said, "It's like a hug from your Grandma".

i bought this men's robe for myself. i love big big robes. as i am writing this i have the robe on. i am a small to meduim and i bought a men's large. it's just wonderful. soft, warm and cute. i like the hood too. i live in minnesota........may need two of these!!

I'm amazed that this style of robe hasn't been duplicated! It is extremely comfortable and warm! I live in Michigan and our couch is right next to a drafty picture window. I wanted to be able to lounge comfortably without dragging a blanket out...this fit the bill. Just got the thing today and haven't taken it off! As others have said, it's like your favorite sweatshirt but longer. Very pleased

I bought my husband this robe a yr ago and I was surprised how heavy and well made it is. I have washed it over 20 times I bet and it holds up very nicely. I started stealing it from him when it got cold so I have finally ordered myself one in a small!! I cant wait to get it. They are so soft and snuggly.

I was a bit hesitant to spend this much on a robe but I had purchased a coat from LL Bean over 10 years ago and it still looks like brand new. So I took a chance. It shipped well before the back order date and was better than I expected. I was trying to decide between the lined and unlined one and opted for the unlined one. I'm glad I did. The unlined one is very warm and comfortable. I would recommend this robe to anyone who is looking for comfort.

I ordered this robe for my sweetie for Christmas. He has other fleece robes that get too hot and sweaty. He absolutely LOVES this robe. He has pretty much lived in it since he opened it on Christmas Eve. He only takes it off when we have to leave the house; and even then reluctantly. He also looks adorable in it when the hood is up.. kinda like my very own Rocky Balboa here at home. :) I will be ordering one for myself very soon!
Re sizing, he's normally an XXL in dress shirts to accomodate his long arms. The XL Tall is a perfect fit.

I could not decide which rugby robe to buy for my son, so I bought both. They are both comfortable and cozy. This is like wearing a long comfortable sweat shirt. My son chose the fleece-lined one because it is exceptionally cold in the third floor family room. But he really likes this one too.
