There's no stretch at all to these pants so not sure why they say it is. It's well-constructed but the material is so thick and heavy that it's not something I would wear during the summer months in NYC area. Sizing seems off as well i.e order up 1-2 sizes. It's been returned.

I don't quite understand other reviewers saying the sizing is off. I always wear a 6 when jeans are labeled as a "skinny" jean, and not just LLBean, but with most other major brands as well. So I ordered the 6 and it fit absolutely perfect. Skinny jeans are supposed to be snug, and these fit close to the body and not obscenely tight like a jegging.
The only thing I think is wrong with the description is the WHITE. It is not white, but more of a vintage white, or antique white. It even has contrast stitching. I like the jeans, and I like the color, but I just don't like when the description is inaccurate.

The sizing of this jeans is not accurate.I usually wear size 4,I had to exchange it into size 8, the waist is now a liitle loose but the knees and legs are still tight which is odd bec. I have skinny legs. It should not be called STRECH JEANS when it streches just like an ordinary jeans. I don't want to send this back again, so I have to keep it hoping it will break wear after wear. To be fair this jeans looks lovely and the fabric looks nice too but the fit is not.

I never thought I could wear white skinny jeans and look and feel good in them! These are actually slimming. They have just the right amount of stretch with 98% cotton and 2% spandex to allow unrestricted movement and still hold their shape. I ordered my usual size. The waist fits comfortably without any bag or pull and is nicely lower but not nearly as low as what the kids wear; you can sit down easily w/o showing all! I am 5'5" and the length is perfect to wear with heels or flats. I sent back the rinse wash because I found the different fabric with 3% lastol didn't give me the same comfort. Love the zipper detail and no problem with thighs or calves being too tight and I'm not skinny. LL Bean please continue to make these jeans with 98% cotton and 2% spandex:)

Great skinny Jeans! The 6 petite was too big so order size down if you usually order size up in petite compared to regular. Size 4 regular fit perfectly. So I'm re-ordering in 4 petite! Great looking plenty of room for my "heavy" thighs too! all in all great fitting pants!

With a 28" waist and 38" hip, I ordered the size 8. They fit fine in the waist and below the knee but were terribly tight in the thighs, even with the little bit of give from the Spandex. I have a couple of pairs of skinny pants from other manufacturers that fit me well, but these probably work best for women with skinny legs. I really wanted these to work because I liked the zipper details and general look of the jeans. Also, being 5'4", the ankle hem fell exactly where I would like my normal hem to fall. I dislike returning things but there is no way that I can comfortably wear these pants and sizing up would not help as they would then be baggy in the waist, so they must go back. :-(

I purchased these jeans in white and they are actually off-white and perfect to wear even in the fall and winter months! The fit is accurate and flattering! The perfect skinny jeans and a great companion to the 16" Waxed Canvas Maine Hunting Shoes!

This is my first disappointment with a Signature line item. I am a true size 4 in the regular LLBean line, with a 25.5" waist, 35.5" hips, 5'7" and 115lb. I do weight training so I have a small waist and muscular (no fat) legs. I first ordered these in size 2 and found the hips and waist fit relatively well, but the lower legs and thighs were unbearably tight, making movement almost impossible. I recently reordered them in size 4. Now the waist and hips were too large with a back waist gap, and the legs were just snug but wearable. What I need is the size 2 on top and the size 4 legs, but since that doesn't exist I will have to reluctantly send both of these sizes back. As far a construction, these are very well made and the fabric is midweight, smooth and soft. If these pants were reworked a bit, I would reorder them right away. Hopefully they will fit your body shape, and you can enjoy these lovely pants.

I love these jeans so much I bought 2 identical pair cause I know I'm gonna wear them out fast. That said, it will take awhile because they seem very well made. LLBean has never sent me a product with a faulty zipper or lousy seams, and this is no exception. But it's the fit that I'm most wild about. Everybody is different I know, but for me, these are perfect.

Ordered size 4 petite dark rinse jeans - fit perfectly. I am 55 year old, 5' 2" and 110 lb. I love these because they are not super low rise. They are skinny jeans and I would compare the quality to any designer jean.
Was unsure based on the sizing chart provided but decided to go with the size I normally wear with other trendy brands.
