Rated 5 out of 5 by HeritageWearer Great boots!
I bought these in anticipation of a business trip to a cold and wet country.
They are great! They size exactly to what I wear usually, and were incredibly comfortable the first time I wore them.
They look extremely handsome, and I look forward to getting some patina on them to make them look even better!

I have had these boots for just over nine months, I live in a wet climate, and these boots have held up, through the worst of the year. Some of the best shoes I've owned, i'll buy another pair just to have a set when they stop making them.

I really love these mocs. I've had them for about two months. They're very comfortable and I love the style. However, part of the suede has torn loose from the stitching along the outside of my left shoe. Now there is a hole on the top of my shoe. Also, the laces seem to be kind of cracking in spots. I can't really explain it, they just sort of get kinks in them that will not come out. I've never had a problem with other Signature products. I would still tell everyone to buy these shoes. Heck, buy three of them. I hope they never stop making these mocs.

Just great shoes. They fit like a glove on first try, and are exact to size. Require just a few blocks break-in, look sharp, and are very comfy. Suede adds a nice touch.

willblake One of my all time LLB favorites
These mocs have been on my feet no less than every other day since I purchased them about a year and a half ago. Originally trying a half size up after reading a number of recommendations here, I rather found them to run true to size and had to return the larger ones. My 10 1/2 fit snugly at first, but after a bit of regular wear they broke in comfortably and at this point they hug as comfortably as any shoe I've owned. The color of the leather (the brown ones) is rich with a nice grain and improving patina that is ideal to wear with most pants - khaki, tan, blue, grey - and they even look sharp with my Nantucket Reds and definitely with most denim. I love the soles, which look much more refined than the rounded and siped ones on my LLB camp bluchers, but be aware that they wear smooth quickly and become a bit treacherous on slippery surfaces. The laces are a kind of wanky; they're stiff and sprout weird little off-shoots of the inner white nylon. I don't mind it, but some will find it quirky and want to replace them. No biggie. There is a small defect in the leather near the top of the boot, and as a result it's slightly split. I've debated exchanging them because of it a number of times, but it doesn't seem to be growing larger yet while the single stitch keeps it in line. That may be the thread that holds the whole thing together, but I'll risk it knowing LLBean has my back if it all comes apart.

I wear a Women's 9 Wide and spent a lot of time reading user reviews to determine if the Ranger Mocs would be wide enough. I ordered a Mens 7 and am thoroughly impressed by how perfectly the boots fit!
I wear above-the-ankle lightweight socks and have been comfortable since day one. Sometimes I wear the boots with tights and a skirt. All my friends and coworkers have complimented me on these boots, especially after I put on red laces.
I wouldn't wear the boots to shovel snow, but I'd wear them to walk on shoveled sidewalks.

LLBeanFanInRI Love these
I am a huge fan of LLBean products. This is my first purchase in the Signature line and so far I have been very impressed. The shoes took a week or so to break in. They are comfortable and really I love the way the yellow laces look. My only complaint is with the quality of the laces. They seem to be 'cracking' in the areas where I tie them. Unfortunately, I don't think the laces will last more than 6 months or so at this rate. Otherwise - awesome shoe... highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by poughdrew My new favorite boots
I got the brown w/ yellow laces as a casual office shoe when it's cold out, and they fit that role perfectly and then some. I normally don't wear boots, but really these wear like flat shoes or dress loafers in that they aren't too bulky. I like these much more than the chukka boots that seem to be the trendy thing these days. When new, the leather is very stiff, but has relaxed a little. They seem very durable for a casual shoe. I did not +1/2 size, since I do not wear extra thick wool socks. I'm now considering getting the non-boot version for summer.

I bought these Ranger Moc's in October of 2010. Almost exactly one year ago. They've been great shoes and have seen plenty of wear but unfortunately the sole has just recently started to come apart from the upper. Thankfully, LL Bean is a company that stands by its products and will be sending me a new pair shortly. Hoping the new pair will last a bit longer this time around.
Highly recommended. Comfortable in every way, especially after break-in and great looking as well.
