Rated 5 out of 5 by TreeSiZ Osprey comes with wings . . .
. . .actually - it doesn't come with wings or fly, but it is better by far than many a day-pack I have used in the past. The material, the lines and design, and the color all add up to an exciting day-pack I always look forward to using. I recommend to any this selection.

Looking for the perfect fly fishing back pack.. Wanted light weight , as small as possible , lots of pockets , comfortable , able to carry fly rods , water bottle , all my flies , fish net , jacket and a sandwich.. Have checked out all the outfitters and etc and could not find what I needed.. Clerk at Bean's said I think we have just what you need in the camera dept.. Sure enough a back pack for camera buffs that fit my needs perfectly.. It even had a large pocket ment for a camera and lens that accommodated my flies perfectly.. Love it..Tj

Rated 4 out of 5 by freqLLbuyer great for XC skiing with a couple of drawbacks
This is a great pack for XC skiing. Especially handy are the interior pocket to keep valuables safe yet accessible and the separate exterior pocket for quick access to sunglasses and other items needed on the trail. The separate wet (shared with a bladder if you use one) and dry sections are also well thought out.
The claimed insulated routing for a water bladder hose didn't keep the water in the hose from my 3 liter Osprey bladder from freezing when temps were in the teens three days ago.
It is set up to carry either a snowboard or a set of skis. But it would be useful to also include straps for carrying a set of snowshoes. When heading off trail alone, I carried a set of snowshoes for "insurance" and the pack lacked attachment points for the upper ends of the snowshoes.
That's why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars.
