The item description did not make it clear, but the light background on these is true white (as I was hoping), not ivory. August 15, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5�by PurpleSky Loved these, but... These shams are beautiful, but do not seem to last long with repeated use. My fiance tends to hug his pillow at night--I take mine off the bed. We've had our shams for almost 10 months, and the pillow that my fiance uses no longer has color. While I would expect some fading with time, the dye used in the fabric does not seem to hold up as I feel it should--especially for the price. August 5, 2012

It is beautifully crafted -- Even my husband commented on how lovely it is (he has NEVER done this before). It is a bit pricey, but I decided I'm worth it because it is exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you LLBEAN!! February 8, 2012

It has a substantial feel to it, and will be very warm this winter. The quilt has a good drape for the sides which I really like so there is enough 'give' when sharing with my husband.
