I love the Trail Model Fleece Pullover. It's unbelievably soft, functional, lasts forever, and has classic styling. But please LLBean, bring back the elasticized cuffs and hem!

Rated 5 out of 5áby peppysfriend LOVE this fleece fabric!
This is the quality fabric I wanted! Superior polarfleece: thick, plush, snuggly (yes, I am a female buying these for myself to wear). I have long arms and these sleeves are plenty long (one of the reasons I buy mens items), I would love an elastic opening here, personally. I don't care for elastic at the hip opening, but I can adjust it so it hangs loose and straight, so no foul. I am 5' 9" and 140 lbs., I'm keeping the small size which is generous in length, both body and sleeves. It does seem to be more of a slim cut which works for me, but I don't think my husband would be as comfortable with this cut. I love the zippered kangaroo pocket, would like a zip neck more than snaps, but these work fine. KEEP MAKING CLOTHING WITH THIS QUALITY FLEECE!

Rated 5 out of 5áby LouisvilleDave Perfect for crisp spring or fall
I bought the Trail Model Fleece Pullover to replace my two-decades-old polar fleece pullover. This was exactly what I was hopping for -- pullover design with zippered pouch/pocket in front. It is great to keep you warm on cool crisp spring or fall mornings, and makes a great layer underneath a lightweight rain jacket.

Really like the pullover. The only problem I have with the pullover is that the collar snaps are a bit cumbersome to use.

Rated 4 out of 5áby GaryDD Trail model Fleece Pullover
I'm impressed! No loose threads anywhere, no labels in annoying places, and sized right. I'm six feet two inches tall, and 220 pounds. An extra large tall is just right. The warmth is just what I expected; it's not wind proof, but it's not designed to be. Works great under any of my wind proof shells. I plan on buying another.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Vaccinium There are better fleece pullovers
After 2-3 years of light use, I conclude that there are better fleece pullovers on the market. Performance has been adequate, but not exceptional. Noticeable pilling of the fabric began after only a few months and the garment now looks quite shabby. Cuffs are open (not elastic, as they were on previous versions of this product) which drives me crazy. They hang down near my fingers, get soaked with slush, brush my food, etc.. I would be happy to pay an additional $10-20 for a more durable fleece fabric and a little bit of elastic tape stitched to the cuffs. I assume these observations apply to the Trail Model Fleece Jacket as well.

Rated 1 out of 5áby mike1203 Skin tight pullover fleece
Sizing on this fleece is inaccurate. I'm a XL in all other garments and they fit fine, but this item is skin tight through the chest, shoulders, and arms. Very uncomfortable. I'm returning it for a refund as I doubt even a XXL would be sufficient.

Rated 2 out of 5áby SeattleNick Large bell-shaped body, pockets actually kangaroo
Wanted to like this, but can't. I'm 6'2", 185" fairly athletic build. The cut is much larger than predicted based on its sizing measurements. It is also built more bell-shaped, might be great for a big guy with more of a belly. Also, the pockets are actually a single kangaroo pocket - kind of annoying since not advertised as such.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Normalwoman Why don't they make these for women, too?
I have been looking for a fleece like this for years! I have one that I bought 15 years ago at another store which was also a man's. I love the kangaroo pocket as I can put my cellphone in it without having to worry about it falling out. I love the long sleeves which can be folded back but can be unfolded to provide warmth for cold hands. It is roomy without being huge so I can layer underneath it.
I am an average size woman, 5'7", 125 lbs. and either a Med or a L fits me well. Actually, they appear to be exactly the same size! I have a Med charcoal gray and a L red and they are identical in sleeve length, width & length of body and the shoulders are the same width.
They are lightweight yet very cozy and warm.....very soft! I also like the snap closure instead of a zipper. Much warmer in winter and easy to manage.
My suggestion: Please, LL Bean!!! Make this same style for women, too! It is frustrating to have to buy men's clothes to get a fleece with pockets and that isn't close-fitting thereby precluding layers.
I, for one, am glad that you brought these back! Love the Polartec 200 fabric!
