I bought this jacket for my husband to replace his old fleece lined warm up jacket. I thought he'd like that it was less bulky and lighter. It was great, except one fatal flaw - the sleeves are not lined! The flannel is only on the torso. There is nothing inside the nylon sleeve to keep the chill out, which seemed silly to us. It was much too cold for him to wear so we returned it. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.

This is a well made jacket, light and comfortable. I have just two issues: (1) it is not as warm as portrayed unless you have layers underneath it, (2) the patterned flannel in the collar should be replaced with a solid colored flannel more compatible with the exterior (navy in this case) because it clashes color-wise. These are my personal opinions, of course.

This is a nice looking jacket, but not warm enough for my husband. Therefore, we exchanged it for the fleece lined one. The temperatures are very low so this jacket will need to sit in the closet for awhile till the weather is around 40 degrees.

The warm-up jacket wasn't available in the store so I placed an in-store order and had it sent to me. I received the jacket and was very pleased with the quality of the fabric (both outside and inside) and the workmanship; the XL was true to size. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

This well fitting jacket feels great for cool weather. With multiple layers in addition to the jacket, it is all you need for winter wear and avoids the bulk. The flannel lining provides added comfort. It looks great with my flannel shirts from LL Bean. Thanks for another quality product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Clothingtime Needs a few changes, but still good
I really like the flannel lining and the fit of the jacket in size L for a 150lb 6' guy, but it needs a couple of changes to make it a favorite. I'd like the sleeves to be smooth nylon as they are in the fleece model for comfort. My other problem is the outside rugged nylon collects every piece of dust and debris it can find and it's hard to brush off without having to get a wet cloth, if you brush against anything it gets stuck to you. My 2005 bought warm up jacket with fleece didn't have this outside material that's like that, I don't know if all the warm up jacket models made now do, but it's disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alessi the perfect weight for fall and winter...
the flannel lining was inspired. makes for easy on and off and is
just the right weight for much of the weather here in northern PA.
I love the large collar and it easily accomadates layering as well.

I own 2 of the Fleece Lined Warm Up Jackets and was excited to add a flannel lined version, especially after enjoying the flannel lined jeans this fall. The flannel lined jacket is stylish and fits well but the flannel lining provides nowhere near the warmth of the jeans, and frankly limits when the jacket can be worn--I would not recommend wearing it below 40 degrees except with a warm sweater underneath. Still a nice item but I was disappointed with the lack of warmth provided by the lack of real flannel lining.
