Rated 1 out of 5 by customer9 Mens jacket with flannel lining
Just bought this jacket with so called flannel lining & it is a piece of junk.. Flannel is thinner than rice paper.. bought jacket with fleece lining years ago, & I must say, price is the same but quality has gone way down.. Seems like we are really paying for all the shipping because the jacket isn't worth $89....

Just about the perfect business casual light jacket. I'm 5'9" and span 70", trim, and the medium fits perfectly. It's not as baggy around the waist and arms as other similar jackets I've worn. I haven't had it in the rain yet but I'd be surprised if the material doesn't shed water very well. The plaid lining is very nice. At first I didn't like the red hue plaid but looking at it in person I've grown to like it. I'm pretty picky about fit and finish with clothes items and spend some time going over things I buy to clean up stray threads. Aside from a single stray thread in the liner all the stitching is perfectly tidy and I found that to be very impressive. I'm totally satisfied and will own this jacket for long long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RD46516 Just about perfect...
for a light fall jacket. The flannel lining is very nice - soft, warm, yet lightweight. The 'hidden pocket' is very handy for a cellphone. The raglan sleeves (I guess they are what is called raglan) are what sets this jacket off me me, as I have short arms and always have to have sleeves shortened on any jacket I buy. With these sleeves, I don't have to do that. The only thing I wish this jacket had was an inside breast pocket. In spite of not having that, I still give it a 5-star rating.

I returned the jacket only because the material wasn't what I was expecting. I already have the jacket but with a different lining and different color. When I saw the item, online, the material appeared more like a "cloth like" than the "nylon" that it actually is. For that reason I returned it. I'm very happy with the L.L. Bean jacket that I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BedroomMakeover Warm-up Jacket Flannel Lined
Was a little skeptical about ordering this jacket because of all the negative reviews about it being made with "noisy" material. I have owned a number of these warm-up jackets over the years and this one is just as good as the others I have purchased. I'm not sure if LL Bean changed the material that caused the negative comments in the reviews, but it is one nice jacket. One thing about LL Bean - They stand behind their products! The burgundy color with the plaid lining is really sharp!

For years I've been hoping that L.L. Bean would bring back their Three-Season Jacket and the Flannel Lined Warm-Up Jacket is the closest thing I've seen to it. The only difference is that rather than 100 wt micro-fleece in the body, this jacket is lined with polyester flannel. Both jackets have nylon lined, but uninsulated sleeves. This jacket is perfect for a wide range of changing weather conditions. My old Three-Season Jacket, sadly worn out years ago, was my go to jacket from spring to fall and I'm so glad that L.L. Bean once again has a jacket in their inventory that fills that niche. L.L. Bean has hit a home run with the Flannel Lined Warm-Up Jacket.

The jacket was well made, and a lovely color combination, but the fit was not right for my husband. We had to return it.

Nice product. Issues are, t h e collar is stiff and needs to soften for overall comfort. Second point, it runs a little tight around the hips. Looks really nice. Seems to be a winner April-November.

I love the style and functionality of the jacket's design; however, the jacket is like an airtight sweat-suit, making me break out in terrible sweat with the slightest exertion. Jacket should be sold with the caveat, "Will lead to perspiring".
