Rated 5 out of 5 by JMan GREAT FOR TALLS!
I'm 6"7" (large tall) and finding any clothing is always difficult. I searched high and low for these jackets so I ended up ordering both colors as they became available. I ended up keeping the green because the color seemed more natural and a bit dressier. The fit is perfect and the inner jacket makes it easy to slip on and off. My old 3 in 1 jacket (10 years new, which I still use) has a fleece inner jacket and shirts usually get hung up putting it on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jollykev8 Awesome Jacket! Do not pass this up!
I've had this jacket for about a month now. I shopped around quite a bit before deciding on this one. I couldn't be happier! I recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a warm, versatile jacket/coat.
It fits perfectly. I'm 6'3"/215 lbs and ordered an XL-Long. I'm usually concerned about the sleeve length, but no issues here.
I've worn it in weather from -7 to 32 degrees, in snow and rain, and have always been warm and dry. It certainly lives up to LL Bean's promises.
One of the best things about this jacket, though, is it's versatility. I've worn it outside playing with the kids, shoveling snow, sledding, and over a sports coat for more formal occasions. It has even survived the epic monster blizzard of 2015! It works for just about everything.
Great product! LL Bean will be my go-to from here on out!

by fourms liner issues
This is an excellent jacket for warmth and weather protection. However, after wearing it and washing it, the black liner fiberfill (which is white) migrates through the black nylon and appears as lint on the surface. (see photos)
Is it caused by friction against the cotton shirts and sweaters that are being worn underneath the jacket? It is not lessening despite frequent removal of the "lint" build-up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Leutie Dressy Casual
I was looking for an everyday jacket that would still be dressy enough to wear to concerts, plays and evening out events. And this jacket fits the bill nicely. If the occasion requires a Sport jacket or suit coat, removing the inner liner/jacket makes for a more comfortable fit. The removable hood is a good feature - keeping the jacket in the casual-dressy category and eliminating the bulky collar look that is typical with a "tuck-in" hood.
One caveat - I used the measuring guide in the Bean catalog and ordered a size LARGE, which turned out to be too small through the shoulders. Replaced with an EXTRA-LARGE the problem was solved.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jbs123 Mis-sized - stiff
I bought this jacket last year. This is my own fault. I should have returned it. It was labeled "large regular" but was upon trying it on obviously a long. I kept it because I needed a jacket right then. After last winter, I had it altered which helped some. The jacket liner when worn separately is not bad. The fabric on the outer jacket is overly stiff with poor pocket placement. The jacket and the liner are not connected at the top of the jacket and bunch up when putting the jacket on.
It lives in the closet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BubblesUp Great Jacket! Warm and Stylish
I bought this for my college-aged son and he's been wearing it constantly since he received it. The inner layer is warm enough to wear on its own, and the outer layer is water and windproof, so it can also be worn on its own. Worn together, they can handle the really cold days in the city where he goes to school. Yay, coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by bbook Great Winter Coat
I've been wearing this coat since September it's now January and I think I can wear it all winter. I bought it a size larger than normal so I can layer it with a vest. The jacket fits perfect. The one thing I was worried about was the zipper. The coat fit's a little below my waist and I thought the zipper might break when I get in the car. I haven't had a problem with it so far. I haven;t had a chance to use the zip out jacket but I'm sure it's functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by armorer All Season 3 in 1
Received the All Season 3 in 1 jacket as a Christmas present (although I picked it out) and am extremely pleased with it. Has worked out great in the recent weather conditions- currently lake effect snow storm (off Lake Ontario) 2-3 inches of snow per hour, 20-25 mph winds. Lightweight, very flexible yet blocks the wind and quite warm. Like the ability to wear liner separately and in conjunction with the outer jacket- great versatility. This jacket replaces a similar one from another manufacturer that finally gave up the ghost after 20 years- expect this one to last even longer given L L Bean's quality and history (been a customer since the 60's). I have only a couple of suggestions for the design crew- make the jacket zipper a 2-way type and move the vertical zipper chest pocket from the left side to the right. The 2-way zipper would allow opening from the bottom up so you can reach items in pants pockets easier without totally unzipping jacket and moving the vertically zipped pocket to the right side of the chest gets it out from behind the outer patch pocket and keeps everything slimmer when both pockets are filled. All in all, a great jacket and looking forward to wearing it for many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanConvert10 Great Jacket
I was looking for a warm, waterproof winter jacket, that fit right and didn't scream technical. In the past, I wouldn't have considered LL Bean, as I used to associate them with big boxy jackets, that while warm, durable and comfortable, were not necessarily stylish; in short stuff dad's wear. This jacket changed that. It is plenty of warm, comfortable, not too bulky and looks sharp. It has been my go-to jacket when the temperature nears freezing, or rain/wind/snow are in the forecast. I used it during last years "polar vortex" (10-15 degrees with some wind) and it held it's own. I'm not sure about the -20% rating, maybe for short stints, depending on your definition of comfort.
There are things what could make this jacket better. Like double zippers, and side zippers to make it easier to sit-down (like getting into a car, bus stop, etc). Also, the zippers look rather flimsy, I haven't had an issue, and the lifetime warranty keeps me ease, but it would be nice if they could incorporate the zippers they use on their higher end stuff.
In short, I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by scrafts This is THE jacket!
I recently started work in Boston, commuting from central Massachusetts. I needed a jacket that would be comfortable while driving to the train station and riding on the train, and warm and dry walking from the train to work. This jacket is lightweight, which works well in the car and train, and is important since I carry a backpack. The backpack slides easily over the jacket fabric. Though I haven't worn the jacket in a snowstorm yet, I have worn it on several rainy days, and it keeps me warm and dry. The adjustable hood is a real plus. The jacket has a smart ("stylish") look; it does not look like a parka or work jacket. It employs buttons, snaps, and zippers.... no Velcro! I miss having an inside pocket, but there is a very handy "wallet" pocket on the upper left side of the front.
