Rated 5 out of 5 by HarryUSMC1968 Deep Water Blue Commuter Pullman
Coolest most practical carry on bag you've ever seen - briefcase and luggage all in one with enough room for a weeks worth of summer travel items ( shorts, shirts, socks, and underclothes ) - summer casual for hitting the beach. Long handle, 80mm wheels, and a rugged feeling material that should stand up when you must valet check the bag for the short hop flights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EPom42 Great carry-on suitcase
I had the old version of the carryall rolling Pullman for years, until a wheel broke. I replaced it with the Commuter Pullman because I liked the look better than the new version of the carryall. I like it a lot - it's reasonably priced, easy to travel with, and holds a surprisingly large volume of things. I travel every week, and wanted to be able to wheel it up to half a mile through a city. I've carried it on (it always fits in the overheads of 737s), and checked it too. My one complaint is that it has soft sides (where the zipper goes around). This means that it's not quite as easy to zip when very full. And I don't trust it as much as a harder sided suitcase while checked in the baggage hold. Altogether though, it's a nice bag, feels sturdy and capable, and I will be keeping it and traveling with it weekly for the foreseeable future!

This Commuter Pullman has a side pocket I thought was for a water bottle. (I've seen other brands with same side pocket labeled with a picture of a water bottle).
Not a convenient pocket for a water bottle. Very disappointed. Sending it back with the rest of the "Commuter Bags".,.I bought with this pullman.
Again, like the underseat bag, laptop size not specified.

Rated 5 out of 5 by scinostereo Easy to roll, and light enough to carry!
I used this as a carry-on for a week long trip and was able to easily pack a pair of jeans, two pairs of capris, eight shirts, pajamas, underwear and socks, a bathing suit, toiletries, a pair of flip flops, a hair straightener, and a hard-cover book. I considered bringing my iPad, but I didn't really need it, although it also fit in the padded pocket. Even when the suitcase was completely full with all of these items, it was very easy to roll and pretty lightweight to carry when necessary.
I flew JetBlue and had no issues bringing this suitcase onto the plane or fitting it into the overhead compartment. I'm looking forward to using this suitcase again on future trips given how much it can hold, how easy it is to maneuver, and since it's perfect for plane travel. I would absolutely recommend this suitcase for anyone taking a trip maxing out at about a week, especially if you want to secure your laptop or tablet with the rest of your luggage. Kudos to L.L. Bean for another beautifully designed, functional product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mommyko Sturdy and stable; it's a keeper
Let me declare first that I have not used this luggage for air travel, yet. But I did use it for 2 10-day car trips this summer and I have nice things to say.
Though mainly used from parking lots to hotel lobbies, one can still tell that this luggage is made very sturdy and stable. It does not twist with any turn of direction, on any surface. It keeps standing itself upright without flipping, even though it is front-side heavy with my laptop in the padded pocket.
I bought this luggage because of the padded pocket. It's a nice surprise to find the pocket is being further protected by 2 more front pockets that are good for business folders and documents. There are also several smaller pockets, 2 lined with fleece and 1 lined to be waterproof, all just 5-6" deep for easy access (I keep smart drives, charging cables, hand lotion, and such in them.)
I like my Commuter Pullman very much. It is well designed for business travel, and it is well made. Now only if it comes in colors other than black, colors for us woman road warriors ??...
