Rated 5 out of 5 by Jodet Easy to read and work!
This weather station replaced one I had previously. This has a time feature where the other one did not. It is easy to read, sits well on a desk or shelf, and has nice features. Time can be displayed in 12 or 24 hour time. Inside and Outside Temps can be reversed top to bottom or vice versa. Can be used with multiple sensors placed at different outside locations. Not sure how to order another sensor though. Very nice, small weather station.

Have had several in/out temp readers and this model is easy to program and even my 93 year old mother can read the screen. The time is also a nice additive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sunnyskys Not very good.
The indoor thermometer frequently looses contact with the outside transmitter even though they are just about 15 feet away from each other. Virtually on the other side of the window.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MIbuckeye Had to return first one
I had to return the first one I got because the outdoor sensor didn't work - the light didn't come on when the battery was inserted, and I tried several different batteries. The indoor display did not register any data coming from the outdoor sensor.
We had one similar to this years ago and it lasted for a very long time.
My one complaint is that the indoor part has to sit on a shelf and we have a place to hang it, but no good place for it to sit.
Hopefully when we receive the replacement unit, it will work.

Rated 5 out of 5 Old Model Weather Station
I have an older model "Thermo Clock," LLB Weather Station similar to this one. It is at least 10 years old or older. It has been fantastic, uses only a couple of AAA batteries a year - Model Thermo Clock RAR312. This past week it died! Have just ordered the .Touch Key First Watch Weather Station as a replacement. It is almost the same except for the ICE feature. Loved that old model and hoping this one will do just as well. Thank You LL Bean.
PS Living in NC not concerned about ICE :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by tiza Very Poor Product
Had to return two as we could not get either to work. Followed directions to the letter. Both couldn't be defective. Directions not overly clear. There are other much better ones out there. Definitely would not recommend. What happened to Bean's older simpler version that worked fine?? Had to replace it because when dropped the case cracked, otherwise worked perfectly. Updated isn't always better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Westech Needs a Light to be 5 star
After reading several of the more negative reviews we decided to depend on the LL Bean reputation and purchase the weather station anyway.
Works perfectly. Easy to setup and program. Great range on the remote unit. The only improvement I would suggest would be a back-light.

I first bought this temperature gauge years and years ago and needed one for Vermont. It is reliable, easy to read, and saves many a trip out the slider to check the temps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Closetchef So far, so good
Set-up instructions were a bit generic, but after overcoming those, quite satisfied. Occasionally loses contact with the remote unit, but all-in-all, quite satisfied. And with the LL Bean warranty, you can't go wrong.
