Rated 4 out of 5 by jdmat58 Soft, smooth fabric but a little short
I love this fabric! Soft and smooth and it holds up well -- meaning it doesn't pill and it doesn't stretch out of shape. (I also have one in the 3/4 sleeve style that I've had for over a year). It's comfortably roomy without being too big (I'm 5'2", 144 lbs). It's a little shorter than I'd like, but it works ok. LLBean, listen to all the reviewers who'd like the gown to be a little longer --like the 3/4 sleeve style maybe (?).

Like the feel and comfort of this nightgown, BUT it is too short and I am only 5'1". Would prefer that it be 2-3 inches longer.
The shirred neckline is nice and would look good on a tee shirt also.

I pre-washed these before wearing, cold water/low dry and they shrunk two sizes. I am a typical Large, purchase these in a 1X because I like my nightgowns very loose. I so wish LLBean would pre-wash their cottons. Very disappointed, I sent them back.

For years I keep coming back to this nightgown. I've bought many other pajamas, nightshirts, gowns...that I love but this is my favorite. It is the most comfortable pleasant sleepwear I've owned. I check every season for the new colors to arrive. I grab them quickly since they do sell out.

I owned a great LL Bean short sleeve scoopneck night gown made several years ago. I ordered the current version and the sleeves are tight. The older gown was a more relaxed fit.

Had bought Supima nightgowns and robes in past. Fell in love and swore I'd only wear Supima sleepwear from now on. So excited when saw you had gowns and robes. Usually love everything from you but not this time. I didn't get money's worth at all. Like many said it's too short and shrinks all over. I'm 5 foot but when I sit down gown doesn't cover my rear. The fabric is thinner and not as soft as should be. Shirring is not comfortable and plain neck would lay better. There's little flair below waist so NOT ENOUGH ROOM for comfort in bed. It should have plenty of material so when turning in bed I don't get twisted up in a tight tube. These don't have nearly enough fabric. I even bought Mawmaw looking print as I wanted more Supima gowns so badly. I see others say in the past that your gowns were much better quality. Please improve these. Robe and gown will have to go back as not roomy or comfortable. Your agent said more colors coming and I had wanted 4 more items. And now I can't buy for Christmas gifts either. Will check in future to see if design and quality get better. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 I love this nightgown!
I just can't say enough about how nice it feels to sleep in this nightgown. It's super soft, and the fabric is substantial, not thin and clingy. It is so comfortable! I have only washed it a few times, but it comes out of the washer looking brand new. I have read other reviews saying it was short, but I am 5'8", bought a 2X and it's fine. It hits just above my knees. I do wish we had a few more colors to choose from.

This night gown is a little clingy compared to the older supima night gown, but it doesn't get as twisted when I turn over in bed. Wish there were more colors available.
My old ones are falling apart and I would like a couple more in my drawer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by UpNorthFreezeBaby Runs Small
I have worn Bean Pima cotton tee shirts for many years. This is my first Pima nightgown and I ordered it in my regular tee shirt size. It's really too small and too skimpy.
This is a lovely, soft nightgown but I suggest you order up one size. Perhaps two sizes if you like your sleepwear generously cut.

Rated 4 out of 5 by brb99 NIce gown, but on the short side
Just adding my voice to those who say (1) this is too short and (2) that it runs small. I would normally have debated between a small and a medium, but ordered a large, which fits perfectly (shoulders and hips). Maybe some prefer a shorter gown, but there should be an option that hits at or a little below the knee. This one comes mid thigh, not my preferred length.
I?ve only washed it once, but it came through perfectly. The material is smooth and soft, which is high praise from me, because I?m very picky about that. It would be nice to have more colors, but it?s not high on my list.
So listen up, LLBean: please give us at least the option of a longer gown!
