Rated 5 out of 5 by Horizonlover husband LOVES this shirt
It was hard to get it off him to wash, so I ordered another. He loves the excellent wicking quality of the shirt while we're hiking as he's prone to excess perspiration. The fit is very comfortable, he doesn't feel the seams at all, he likes the length, which stays tucked and he likes the fit of the collar, not too low and not too high. I've never heard him rave about a garment before! He even uses the thumb hole in the cuff to keep the sleeve down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jack63 Comfortable and great fit
I use these base layers to play golf in. Does a great job with warmth but does not restrict movement. Also great for any outdoor activities. Well worth the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MTS1 Excellent!
I got the blue one first and liked it so much I have since ordered the green and black as well. The shirt fits snug enough, but I can layer underneath it with more compression type base layers, turtlenecks, etc. as needed. This is really great for my uses as the Bean shirt is nice looking and extremely comfortable as an outer layer. The polyester and spandex blend is perfect, feels mostly like soft polyester, but does stretch a bit like spandex allows. So, it has many uses for me... as a standalone long sleeve, mid layer or outer of more than one or several layers depending on conditions. I am in the Northeast and run well into the winter so I am looking forward to having these fine shirts in the mix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tenbones Overall, I'm satisfied.
I also bought the pants to go with the top so this review will apply to both.
I live in South Dakota where the weather gets cold but I have never worn "long underwear" before, so I didn't quite know what to expect. I had a chance to try these out while deer hunting in 30 degree weather and I found the cold to start creeping in after about an hour sitting in a blind. As I mentioned, I didn't quite know what to expect as to how much warmer I should be but I was not uncomfortable by any means and I'm sure without them I would have been very uncomfortable and if I had been active, like walking instead of sitting I may have been too warm.
The only complaint I have is that they are easily snagged, I found a snag on my top after wearing it the first time and I don't recall catching it on anything.
Overall I rated these 5 stars as the fit and quality were excellent, they are comfortable to wear and the warming qualities were satisfactory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sikuq My best base layer.
I use both top and bottom layer and they keep me warm and dry even in very cold weather while hiking. I keep buying these from LLBean year after year as they are my preferred brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Normo22 Great fit
After reading some other reviews on this and similar products, I was hesitant to order because of too short of a length. I am 5'6" and 150 lbs. The M size was perfect. Arms are long enough and above all, I am able to tuck it into my pants and it stays there. I just ordered another one.

Very lightweight and good for biking with a wind breaker.
It fits great and looks good, but make sure you wash it first before wearing cause mine arrived with some odor

Just an all around good base layer.
The fabric has held up exceedingly well to all outdoor activities while providing all the warmth and dry-ability I had expected. The thumb holes are a nice feature too.
It's decently warm on it's own, but really it's meant to be layered with an other shirt, mid-weight, and jacket for colder temps (30's and below). For this purpose it is excellent, with the tapered fit keeping the fabric close to your body without bunching or riding up.
Great base layer for the price. It's absolutely going to be a mainstay in my pack for all future outdoorsing.

by OldManAdventures Excellent Underwear
The Power Dry Underwear is excellent underwear, dries quickly after vigorous activity, comfortable, great fit, very durable with years of daily use. I use it all winter for skiing, snowshoeing, shoveling and winter camping. A comfortable fit for me 6ft 175lb is the XL Tall after sizing with a few hot drier runs. I have worn this underware backpacking for five days in below freezing weather with excellent results.
