Rated 5 out of 5 by WAtraveler Attractive Lightweight Shirt
I purchased this shirt this year after reading the new reviews. The styling is great - just a bit curvy with the darts in the back - very flattering. The shirt looks good both tucked in and untucked, with or without a coordinating tank. I ordered both the print and the plaid. The pink print was a bit intense for me, but the plaid was beautiful with versatile colors. The fabric is lightweight and very comfortable but does wrinkle a bit. I hang this shirt while damp to minimize the touch up ironing needed. The Beech Hill Shirt is a good wardrobe option for warm days when you're tired of wearing lightweight knit tees.

I was so excited to find this blouse and to read the reviews. I ordered the Pink Plum flowered one and the Blue Turquoise. I usually wear a Large and that's what I ordered. Oh my! This is a terrific blouse! We are moving to Atlanta in 3 weeks and I think I will wear this every day! Nice, cool fabric. Nice feel - like frosting on a cake. With the seams, it is not a loose, hanging, old ladies blouse. Nice and fitted, a good length - not one of those short things. I love this blouse. You will not be sorry, girls. Get a couple!

Rated 2 out of 5 VERY Thin
I know this is a summer shirt, but even for that, the shirt was much thinner than I expected. I felt that if a bumped against something, it would tear. The colors, however, are nice.

Yes, would recommend this shirt to a younger person....with it's peter pan collar and capped sleeves. Was a little disappointed with color combo mix in the shirt when I saw it in person. Well made but Not for me.Another great garment from llbean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyMinnesotan Lightweight but not see-through
I just received this shirt so I haven't washed it yet, but I've tried it on and it's very comfortable, slimming, attractive, and light weight. Because of the colors of the material, you can't see through it, which I like. I would definitely recommended it for casual summer days. I think it's priced a little high but it's still a high quality shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Azuredly My favorite cute summer shirt
I bought three of these shirts last summer, and I wear them constantly. The rounded collar, feminine short sleeves and shapely seaming make this a flattering garment. The fabric is light and soft, and needs only minimal touch-up with an iron. It's perfect to wear on warm, humid days. I'm so glad to see the new florals this season, and just ordered them in both colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Reviewer3 Nice shirt but sleeves are too short
I really like the fabric and feminine look of this shirt. The material is soft and light, perfect for summer, although you may want to layer it with a tee or camisole because cotton voile is rather thin. I love the colors, too. (I bought all three plaids.)
I took off one star because I find the sleeves too short. I like a little more coverage on my arms. Also, I layer this with a pima cotton tee underneath and the tee's sleeves stick out.
This shirt is more feminine and not quite as boxy as other button-front shirts I've bought from Bean, although the fit is still rather loose. I have a slender build and would love to see feminine blouses with a trimmer fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shopper1280 great in hot weather
I bought both the plaid and flowered Beech Hill shirts to bring on trips to very hot locations. They are excellent shirts to have in hot humid weather. They can be washed out in a sink and they dry overnight. Best of all, unlike many light cotton shirts, the patterns and colours prevent them from being see-through. I liked the product very much. Thanks LL Bean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by customshopper not worth buying
I bought the Twilight color and the shirt does not look as good as it is shown online. The picture online shows vibrant colors and the shirt I got looked dull. I returned the shirt because I wouldn't pay $40 for this shirt... not even $20. That's how bad it looked in person. Plus, the material felt cheap. Really not worth buying...
