This is a very lightweight and comfortable shirt that I wear over a T-shirt, Polo shirt, or collared shirt. I use it as a sweater or sweatshirt that is much more comfortable and better looking.
I actually have 6 of these. I strongly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SherlocknotH Keeps me toasty!
Although I was actually looking for an old fashioned 'long johns' top, I saw this product, read the description, and ordered one. I could not be more satisfied! This winter in the northeast US has, of course, been brutal temperature-wise, but wearing this product (under an LL Bean flannel shirt, of course!) has made my two-a-day dog walks MUCH more bearable and even comfortable.
That the neck 'zips up' is a great feature also.

Good layering item. Lightweight, Ordered a tall sizing. It seems a little shorter waist length then the normal tall sizing with LL Bean garments. Overall happy with!

I am 6'1'', 180#. The medium tall is way too big, especially as a base layer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wisawk Gift for an avid cyclist!
I bought this as a gift for my husband, who is an avid cyclist. I had hoped for this to replace his 30 plus year old ratty shirts which he wears in the winter under his cycling jacket to wick sweat and stay warm. The shirt looks and fits great. The fabric is quite light. He does like the "thumb hole" feature which helps when cycling in the cold. BUT, he reported this shirt does not keep him warm enough- mind you he is cycling in 20 degree weather with a windchill in the teens. Had I known this, I would have bought the heavy weight or mid-weight shirts. With this said, he does want to keep it and not return it so that says something. He reports he will wear this and it will work better in much warmer weather- perhaps the upper 30's and 40's.

Nice shirt but the zipped up neck was way too small for my husband, who is a normal size frame. Sending back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by UShiker lightweight quarter-zip
the only thing i liked about this product, was that it was light weight. the material over the zip is bulky & very uncomfortable on the neck, after zipping it up. the sizes run very snug. i am used to wearing my long underwear loose, so i can move around, during an activity. if U want something very lightweight, & are slim, athletic build, it would be ok.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mimiyoyo awkward collar design
Bought it for my hubby. The material is fine and comfy. However, the collar design is a little off. If it's fully zipped, it'll stick to your neck. if you do not zip it, it does not look fit. So I had to return it back.
