Excellent light weight and tough shell. Love the very hard to find hood in a jacket of they type. I wear this over a LL fitness fleece when I mountain bike 30-40 degrees. Once it goes below 30 I add a LL river driver shirt as a base layer and I am good into the low teens which is about as cold as it gets here normally. The hood fits nice under my helmet as well and easy to remove during my ride if I get too warm. If they added some vents the jacket would be perfect.

I run each morning in the Pacific Northwest, where it's not so cold but lots of mist. This jacket is really lightweight so I can choose my warmth by the shirts I wear underneath.
Soon I'll be getting back into bike riding. If it turns out to be a sunny day, I can stuff the jacket into its little case that fits easily in my bike pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MiaJ Great buy, quiet and comfortable
I bought this for running on cooler days and in light rain. It's my favourite run jacket. It has a decent length even in petite, and is tissue-soft and quiet. It's so light I could probably fold it into a pocket or purse. It has excellent wind resistance and warms me right up. I definitely recommend this for casual lightweight wear. Generously cut in size too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NearSeattleMom I love this jacket!
I love everything about this jacket. It's super lightweight, and I mean tissue paper thin, which is just what I was looking for. I wanted a jacket to run in that wouldn't weigh me down, but that would be just enough when it's cool outside or windy. I got the visibility yellow/green color, and you can't miss me, which is great for where I live. It's a longer length, which I like because it covers my bum, and the pockets are placed just right - not too high. They zip, too, which is great for carrying my keys. And finally, the hood is perfect - deep enough that it covers my head without creeping back, and snug enough that it doesn't fall down while running. I will say that it doesn't wick moisture well, so if you sweat a lot while running this may not work for you. That's not a big issue for me, so I can overlook it. All in all, a great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by scarletto Great - and Weightless!
Bought this a year ago and finally had a chance to use it on a trip to Iceland. Great and lightweight jacket for layering. Fit over a sweater or fleece - slight stretch fabric is VERY comfortable. No noise fabric. Wore it in a light rain and it kept me dry and comfortable. Zip pockets, as always, are perfect for not losing cash or keys. Folds or rolls up into nothing, so I had it tucked into my purse and ready at all times. Elastic hood stayed in place without blocking my side vision. I am a fussy shopper - no complaints about this jacket!!

This is just what I needed for cycling, walking, and hiking on cool days. This jacket is very thin, but is warm and blocks the wind. I have taken it on my morning walks and on my bike. It is great! I got the orange in large even tho I am a med person. The med probably would have fit fine, but I like room to move when on the trail or on my bike. I find it rather hard to stuff it in the bag, but it does go in, and it is compact. When you pull it out, it is wrinkled, but they fall out fast, so not a big deal at all. This jacket does what it was made to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TundraRunner Great for running
I bought this jacket because I need a light outer layer for running in our breezy, unpredictable weather. It fits the bill perfectly! It keeps me warm without adding any weight, washes beautifully, dries quickly, and packs like a dream. When temps were in the 30s, I could wear it over a wool underlayer and now that temps are more in the 40's, I can wear it over a t-shirt and be perfectly comfortable. I got the bright yellow for visibility and feel that much safer when I have it on, knowing that it would be very difficult NOT to spot me in that color! I agree with other reviewers that the zipper is a bit sticky at the bottom and that a bit more reflective material would be ideal, however, those are small things in light of the jacket's overall utility.

Exactly what I need for hiking and Nordic walking. I live near a lake where the breezes can be chilly and unpredictable so I'm often caught out with too few or too many layers. This jacket is so compact it allows me to under dress a bit and layer up easily if conditions change. Surprisingly warm and wind proof if used as a shell. I ordered up a size for ventilation and layering. No problems with the zippers, as other reviewer reported.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ABitFrustrated Not waterproof
When I was looking for a new rain coat, this one popped up in my search. While the description does not say that it is waterproof, the impression given is that you'll stay reasonably dry while wearing it.
I can now attest that the coat is in no way waterproof, even in a light rain, and now my brand new iPod (stowed safely in an interior pocket) is utterly ruined.
I will say that the coat is good for lightweight temperature protection, but definitely not for water protection. And, it does breathe well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by workinprogress So versatile!
Other reviewers have mentioned this jacket "doesn't breathe," but I ONLY found that when I wore it over bare skin (only short t-shirt underneath). When worn with long sleeves, it breathes beautifully. In fact, I found this windbreaker so useful in such a range of temperatures, I bought a second one - both at full price!
Warning, though; this is not for extreme temp's. And on sunny, windy, or changeable days, wear a minimum underneath - less than usual, and preferably natural fibers. You'll breathe fine, especially if you size up a bit - maybe 1/2 size, so air can circulate inside.
Just would like some more light colors to reflect sun on cool, breezy days near the water. Great for spring and fall!
