Rated 5 out of 5 by internetshopper454 Great to use as pj pants
They fit well, are very comfortable, wash and dry well with no shrinkage. Plenty of length to them as well. I like them as pajama pants and that's why I bought them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by delretiree Good fit
Some reviewers complain that these are too short. I am 5'9", 150 lbs and they are long enough for me and felt good next to my skin. I washed them (cold), hung to dry, and they didn't shrink. I bought them for a hiking trip in Maine later this year so haven't field tested them yet. It's still summer where I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Huierre Warm and lightweight
These are exactly what I was looking for: a warm, breathable, comfortable lightweight layer that would hold up better and not shred like the silks. I have heavier long johns for real cold, but fall and spring need a lighter layer in the Northwest. I read the other reviews and ordered a small, instead of a medium. That was good advice that I will now pass on to you.

Just gearing up for next winter season. Spring has sprung here in the South so I just tried them on to make sure they fit. I'll be saving them till fall/winter season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuseB more than i had expected
I remember as a child wearing "long johns" that became wet, smelly, heavy during snow activities. And that, more or less, was what i expected. HOWEVER, the LL Bean stretch layer lightweight pants I recently purchased are completely the opposite -- they DIDN'T get wet, nor heavy nor smell after wearing them -- in the snow-- under my jeans. They were dry and light. They kept me dry and warm. I wish I had purchased two pair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by ggfdd A little short
These are heavier than expected so they do not lay as well as hoped under jeans and a little short on m y 5'7" height, but not so much that socks do not cover. Will keep, but wish the were another inch or two longer and a little lighter weight so they laid smoother under pants....but kept me warm in 30-40 degrees

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nwdogger Warm, midweight long underwear
I needed some long underwear for working outside during winter. When it gets really cold, I needed them to base layer under my snowmobile suit. I have found that silk underwear is thin enough to wear under my clothing, but is not sturdy enough to take rubbing from my work clothes. The Power Dry Stretch base layer is thin enough to wear under loose clothing, yet the material is sturdy. I've used and washed this one for over 1 month now and they are holding up very well. The weight is equivalent to mid weight silk. They are soft. They do have a seam on the inside and outside of the legs. Legs end with a hem. Waistband is 1inch elastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by virginiaj too short
I love the material and workmanship, but they rise just below the belly button and the legs are too short. I am not particularly tall (5'6") and my height is mainly in my torso, not legs. I wear normally 29" pant leg. I measured these inside legs at 27 1/2" and the back rise at 13 3/4" -- which is too short. Even though I washed them in cold water and hung them to dry rather than putting them as 'permitted' through the dryer, I think they shortened up a bit. I may return them. They are very comfortable and fit well otherwise (not at all big), but my ankles get cold and I prefer the waistband to sit higher at my waist, not below.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Florett Power Dry Stretch Base Layer - GREAT!
I love these. They are warm, comfortable and wash very well. I've been living in them since I bought them - the arctic vortex hasn't left town yet. I have different uses for them: pajama bottoms, warmers under slacks when walking dogs, and leggings with a long skirt. I got the light color and now will get the dark color too. The light color gets dirty quickly, but who cares, they wash so well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Notaverageshopper Great but way too short
Bought a pair last year and can't find anything that's both as lightweight and also durable, so bought another this year, hoping the length had been increased. Nope. I'm 5'8" which isn't super tall; a Large hits me at midcalf which sure makes for cold lower legs. They hold up very well to repeated washings, are lightweight enough to fit even under jeans, but I surely wish there was a longer length.
