Rated 2 out of 5 by fishdiet The look and fit were good, but it snagged easily
The fit was roomy for me and I liked the style. However, it snagged in multiple places the first time I wore it. I was wearing an outer shell coat and the velcro caught it.

After wearing it one time, it has a lot of catches in the material. I wouldn't recommend this shirt at all.

Lightweight layering top which is soft on the inner layer and wicks away sweat. Fits a little on the large size. Size down if between sizes.

I love the looser fit, the feel of the fabric and you can't beat the price! The week before I purchased the powder-dry stretch pants, another winner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by BoardnRunViv Great feel, but too loose
The feel of the material is wonderful. The thumbholes are simple and great. The overall fit, however, is looser than I'm used to - I usually buy a size small (5'-0", 135#), but this size Small was a bit on the loose side, and I can feel the shirt swishing around while out on my runs. It's going back in exchange for an XS.

I've been looking for shirts that can be hand washed and will dry overnight. We are traveling overseas and need to pack light. I was not impressed with the shirts advertised in stores and online as travel clothing. The prices are extremely high. And, the "quick dry" material is extremely uncomfortable. I also looked at other options in stores including "moisture wicking" running tops (too baggy) and base layers for outdoor activities (too expensive).
I decided to try this LL Bean base layer because it had all of the features I've been looking for at a much lower price. I ordered two shirts (shale gray and true blue) that can be worn with neutral colored travel pants. The shirts just arrived and they are perfect: well made, comfortable, and flattering fit. After our trip, I plan to wear the shirts on runs and as a base layer in colder weather.

I really like this crew, especially the contrasting seams and the elongated back. I wear it during the cold weather as a topper for my jeans. I'm fairly petite: 5'5" and 117 lbs. Ordered a medium: the sleeves are a touch too long and I can tell by the way it drapes on me that I could have gone with a small. But hey, I'm 60 and all about comfort: not looking to show off my body. Final note: I suffer from eczema and am wary of fabric quality. Happy to report that Polartec works for me. I waited a long time for this item to go on sale. 10% off is still on the spendy-side, I think. But, I really like this crew.

The long sleeve crew top fits true to size. The sleeves are a little long otherwise it fits nice. I live in an area that is very cold during the winter. This top does keeps me warm and dry. I wear it under an shirt or sweater. The stitching on the crew is a little rough although not uncomfortable.
