Bought this bag to use for work. It has lots of pockets in it and is a nice water resistant material. I walk a couple blocks to work everyday and wanted a bag that wouldn't get saturated in the rain or snow. Have only had the bag 2 weeks but love it so far.

I like: * the size (made for a woman's frame)
* The inner handle, for use when the flap is open
* The assortment of pockets, for stashing many things
* Being able to fit my lunch bag along with laptop, planner and books
* The broad should strap that doesn't slide when I am rushing
* The durable cover that withstands unceremonious dumping several times a day
I'm not sure if I will use the different color straps provided.
One problem: the front pocket bulges when fully loaded, and the velcro sticks as I try to pull the flap down.
Overall, this bag meets my needs admirably.

Rated 4 out of 5 by altorecorder Darn near perfect.
This bag is comfortable and well-balanced, holding everything I ask it to hold. Considering how much it holds, it is not particularly bulky, and fits almost anywhere. I have the plum color, and get positive comments about the bag's attractiveness.
Of course, it could be even better:
the hook & loop fastener on the main front flap is too noisy, and I had a panic when I couldn't find the theater tickets in a little inside pocket, so a lighter-colored lining fabric, and/or contrasting zipper color would be helpful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by DachshundFriend Right Size, Strap Issues
This bag is wonderful for me for school. I am currently taking one class in college. I can carry one largish textbook, a small binder, my tablet, my wallet, cell, keys, and sunglasses easily. I can also get some snacks and other items in.
I wanted a bag that was not huge as I am only on campus for a few hours and with one class and this is perfect.
My one complaint is that I am a big girl (5'8" and plus size) and the strap is a little shorter than I would like. I would like it to be about 6 inches longer to comfortably wear it cross body. I can do so, but I would like the bag to ride a little lower. Additionally, the strap adjustment is not the double over strap found on many other bags, so any adjustments cause the strap to flap in the breeze. This is the reason for the bag losing a star.
I did not want the men's version as color important to me and the men's (or unisex) is also a little larger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by InternationalTexan Great messenger bag!
I've had this messenger bag for a few months now and it's great! I use it to commute to work and for travel and it has plenty of room for my daily and travel needs.
The strap has an adjustable pad and is pretty comfortable. It has one large main pocket with a laptop sleeve and a slightly padded pocket that's suitable for a tablet. It easily accommodates a 13" laptop and a tablet with room for other essentials. There are four other pockets that are also useful. There's a small pocket on the flap that's perfect for keys, phone, an mp3 player, or other small things you want easily accessible. There's a side pocket that's similar. There are two pockets on the front, underneath the flap that are good for other small things you'd like to keep track of but don't need super-easy access to like the other 2 pockets.
It easily accommodates what I take to work daily or what I like to take on an airplane carry on. It's held up very well and the materials are very solid. Both LL Bean and Osprey have great customer service, so in the event that something did go wrong (unlikely) it would be easily rectified, I suspect.

This bag is amazing! It has just the right number of pockets (lots of them), is very durable, attractive, and holds quite a bit, comfortably! I highly recommend it!
