The sleeping bag is super comfy and warm although I have not tested it in colder weather. I am 5'7 and approximately 130 lbs and I feel trapped when zippering up the bag. Although I did not measure the width, I find it quite constricting. There isn't much wiggle room and I am a side sleeper. If you are on the larger size or prefer to sleep on your side, I would recommend the larger bag. I wish I had exchanged mine.

Bag was much smaller than listed. It was 68"X30" when it was supposed to be 74"X33". Sent back and asked for refund. Alerted LLBean to do some quality control and check their manufacturers products.

Rated 5 out of 5áby camper123456 Kept me warm in Iceland
Incredibly warm sleeping bag. Not trusting the 20 degree rating, I brought along two down comforters while camping in Iceland. I soon realized that the down comforters were completely unnecessary as this bag was warm enough without it. Great bag, and not only warm, but super comfy

Rated 5 out of 5áby grandpa10 Great bag!
This is a great bag! I just got back from a trip to Rocky Mountain Park. It went down to 21 deg. Fahrenheit and I was toasty warm in my tent! The zipper works well and it's very comfortable. I highly recommend this bag.

For Christmas we purchased 2 camp bags for our youngest 2 kids to replace their child-sized camp bags. That makes these the 9th and 10th LL Bean camp bags we have purchased in the past 10 years. (We've even outfitted the grandparents with them.) The outer fabric is very different now. It attracts lint, pet hair and dust like a dust mop! The bags have been used just a couple times and they look horrible -- completely covered with fuzz and lint and dog hair! We have the dark blue and the green.
They are super comfy and warm, but this new fabric is very unsatisfactory.
LL Bean - any plans to bring back the old fabric?

Rated 5 out of 5áby Eclectichk Plush and Practical
Growing up on mountain tops and now living without heat sleeping bags have always been an essential bedding layer for us. In recent years the mummybag and other one-person camping style bags have become more prevalent and this classic style bag has been near impossible to find. This year we bought this beautiful bag; a perfect marriage between comfort, warmth and practicality. We love the soft and thick inner bag and the non-synthetic, non-slippery outer to the bag. The straps and clips are very durable and well designed. We were pleased with the quality of the sleeping bag's carrying bag as well, which helps for making it compact for storing. The zippers too are amazing and have already been stress tested at our house and passed! We plan on buying another to zip the two together for camping and our trips to the sierras.

You will never buy another sleeping bag again! The seams and zipper are strong and the storage bag is super heavy duty with a carrying tab. Very well made!

Ordered for my Dad for Christmas, got the tall/x-long one since he is tall. He can't wait to use it this hunting season.

Rated 2 out of 5áby cantusemyrealname No baffles! Don't let the picture fool you.
Every sleeping bag I have ever owned have baffles, sewn through places to keep the layers together and not moving around. This bag is simply three layers sewn together at the edges, NO BAFFLES OR TACKS. I have NO IDEA how well it will stand up to a washing machine, nor how well it will wear. If the middle thermal layer rips, it will all settle to the ends of the sleeping bag! As I use it for a comforter, I grab a part in the middle and come away with just that layer, flannel or nylon, the rest laying where it was. I curse and have to find an edge to pull on.
Mind you, it is WARM AND COMFORTABLE. The layers, once positioned properly cushion well and loft well. I won't return it but I am not happy that LL BEAN of all people have forgotten how to make a sleeping bag. I guess I will have to tack the layers together myself
