Rated 5 out of 5 Fit my needs to a T!
I had to return the larger version of this pad (both in height and width) and was apprehensive since I was already in love with that one. The exchange was due to my happy purchase of a couples sleeping bag that would not fit the pad I fell in love with.
I have to say, I felt like I was sleeping on cloud nine before, and I still do...only with less weight and space to bear on each trip. This is a quality buy for back-packing and car-camping alike.

Rated 2 out of 5 by FairfieldMomofTwoGirls Marginally better than a $6 pad
I purchased this sleep pad after sleeping on the floor of a Girls Scout cabin using a cheap $6 pad from a mass merchandiser and a sleeping bag. I subsequently used this pad on the same floor about a month later and it was only a very minor improvement. Yes, I knew it was only going to be 1.5 inches thick, but I guess I expected more for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bangorme Great Backpacking Sleeping Pad
Bought this for backpacking, but also use it for general tent camping. As with all backpacking equipment, it sacrifices some comfort for lightness. To get the maximum padding from it, blow it up fully. The large size is plenty big, and most two person tents can't take two of them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bert44 Not enough padding
Maybe it's me, but I expected this to expand more on its own. Even helping it along with extra puffs wasn't enough. It's a well-made product, just not enough padding for these old bones

We bought these for middle age bodies. Not thick enough for tent camping. We sent them back!

Purchased this item for my son. He loves it so far. We plan on hiking the 100 mile wilderness in May & we are making preps right now. I Completed AT thru-hike in 2005 utilizing this pad & it held up the entire way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by running10ks Good for backpacking or for kids
I knew the dimensions of this pad when I ordered it. Yet, when it arrived, I almost returned it because it was so narrow. I can see how the pad is ideal when packing weight is an issue. However, for car camping, I think I'd rather splurge on one of the larger, heavier, more deluxe sleeping pads. I decided to keep this pad for the kids to use. As some of the previous reviewers have stated, the pad does not inflate well the first time. You actually need to blow some air into it. But afterwards, the pad inflates nicely on its own. Still giving this pad 4 stars as it is good for its intended purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dogmusher thin, but comfortable
My husband and I did some camping with the dogs. The pads held up well to dogs walking on them as well as our sleeping on them. They are thin but provided plenty of comfort. So great to not have to pack along thick things or mats that take along time to inflate.

This sleeping pad is so light that I was very pleasantly surprised how easily it inflated and how confortable it turned out to be.
