I'm short-waisted and the rise on these pants was too high. The waist is quite small so there's no room to wear them any lower. Unfortunately I'll have to return them. April 24, 2013

I am bored with the age-old black, khaki, dark blue, stone and olive colors. They are dullsville for summer wear! August 22, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5�by mrcu Nowhere near the right size I've ordered BST pants for years and always worn a 14, supposed to fit a 32.5 waist. The pants in my closet are 33 inch. The crops measured 31 inches. I ordered the skirt also and it was 34. Not sure what size to reorder. August 8, 2012

Bean original fit pants are the only ones that fit me (small waist)--I about panicked when this fit went away for awhile. I do miss the little split at the hem (a nice detail), the shorter length, and the lighter stone color. August 8, 2012

The length was good. I wear them all the time. They are comfortable and can go anywhere. I bought another pair (even though the first pair isn't worn) because I was afraid that LL Bean would discontinue them. I would recommend them to anyone. August 1, 2012

These are such nice quality pants, and it pained me to have to send them back - twice - first in my current size, and then a size up. The length was really fine, but the waist was extremely tight. I thought it must be me, so I ordered a size up and they fit the same, almost as though they were the same measurements as the smaller size. They were also very loose under my seat, so much so that they looked a bit frumpy. Sent them back. Very frustrating. August 1, 2012

Also the fabric pulled around the pockets, just wouldn't lay flat, and it wasn't because the pants were too tight there. Just didn't seem the quality I've always expected from LLBean. They went back. These cropped pants have a higher waist but unfortunately it was too tight. I ordered my regular size so I don't think it was me. Had to return them. June 27, 2012
