I'm stationed in Northern Japan and needed turtlenecks to go under my sweaters. I'm 5'7" and 150lbs, and medium tops from L.L. Bean always me fit well. These turtlenecks are no exception, they are not tight but fit closely to make layering easier. The material is slightly stretchy and holds its shape well. It has a nice smooth feel and is not bulky but still feels warm. Perfect for under sweaters or to wear alone with some nice slacks. I ordered two but plan on getting one of each color, winter is long and windy over here.

This was an instant favorite from the moment I put it on. The fabric is a little flannel-like, soft and stretchy, and it's warm and comfy. The colors also coordinate well with other LLBean pieces.

I wear a cotton turtleneck for cooler seasons almost every day. Reading reviews that the sleeves were long, I was very excited -- I'm 5'7", and sometimes regular size clothing turns out too short. I ordered this in black.
And I was very glad when I wore it! The sleeves are long enough to me. And that long sleeves, in addition to the slim fit and just perfect amount of the mock neck collar, look so stylish!! The fabric quality is great too.
I'm thinking to buy other colors too.

I bought the navy print in this scrunchneck shirt and it's stunning! Very soft, silky material in a very lovely print. It's hard to find mini florals in knit shirts, so this is a great discovery. I also like the more generous length. Overall, a very elegant look.

Love the interesting print on this turtleneck and bought both colors. It washes up very nicely, very happy that no ironing needed. It will be a great change from the usual solid or heather colors. If you are layering, it gives you options which color you can coordinate with. Hope LLB brings out more color combos, like purple/violet or deep green/beige (are you listening?).

I am just too short for this scrunchneck tee. I'm 5'2". The sleeves were too long and it was too fitted for my tastes. The stripes were cute, but I sent it back to LLBean.

Fits true to size; washes and dries as recommended. This stripe is very pleasing and subtle. The shirt is long in the body which I prefer, but is trim enough to tuck in. Love it.
