I have really enjoyed LL Bean products over the years but everything I buy lately makes me feel like a walking advertisement. Shorts are over priced. Came with a big snag in the material. Now I will have to deal with the hassel of the return process. March 18, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by jstaylor14 Technical Fishing Shorts I bought these to fish in as well as wear around town. I like them but prefer my 3 pairs of Flywaters Guide shorts much better. I don't like the velcro tabs on the side - prefer the snap closures on the Flywaters shorts. I also think the size is a bit small on these. I would recommend ordering a size larger. March 11, 2013

I need to move easily, pockets to carry a few items, and quick drying. The shorts exceed all my expectations. They are very well made. I can't imagine better. They fit perfectly, meaning they don't ride down like other shorts I own. (not Bean) I'm buying another pair. Thank you Bean. May 5, 2012

They are well designed and very comfortable ... and customizable for fit with the waist "cinchers". I doubt i'll use the plier-specific pocket, but I do like the use of both zippered and velcro pockets. Very happy. March 7, 2012
