I took a chance on these while on sale and am glad I did...in fact, I just ordered two more just like the first. The fit 34" x 30" inseam is about as perfect as I could expect. The jeans are soft and look good enough for the office. They feel like they will last a long time too. I really cannot think of a single complaint! Love em! February 26, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by Idleman Double L Jeans I had only bought 1912 jeans before these and think they are great, I bought 2 pair of these and I put them on out of the bag and they were uncomfortable around the waist. I wanted to give them a chance, so after washing one pair, they had relaxed around the waist and are very comfortable now and the denim is extremely soft, buying 2 more pair while they are on sale :) January 15, 2013

They look the same, wear the same and breathe the same; however, water runs off them like on a duck's back. I will be buying them again exclusively. May 30, 2012

The legs were slightly tighter than I like but not so bad as to cause me to return them. They are very well made and comfortable. The weight of the cloth is what jeans of old used to be, so I expect these to be very durable. I am very pleased with this first time purchase. I did not notice any shrinkage after washing. I will definitely purchase jeans from L.L. Bean again. May 23, 2012

Bought many different types of rain gear, most were great for keeping the rain off but in warm weather the pants always kept in too much heat and therefore perspiration would build up, and were a nuisance to constantly put on and take off when going in and out of the office. LL Beans Nor'easter cotton jeans were the answer to my problems. The fit and style is great, and now being comfortable both in or out of the rain is just fantastic. Hey, LL Bean, can you make a ball cap out of the same material please? May 9, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5�by JmJ05 wet weather wear I have noreaster cotton double L jeans with and without lining. both are comfortable. both are a little long (1 inch). bought the lined pair before winter. wore them every weekend and most evenings. lined pair has lost some of the water resistant in spots, after multiple washes. just bought the unlined pair for obvious reasons. overall a good value purchase. February 29, 2012
