Awesome pants in every way but we have long legs in this family and we need 36in. length! Please add 36in to all of your styles!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kingsfan Very Baggy
I bought these pants primarily for the light weight fabric, which I really like. However, the cut, especially in the legs, is very baggy. When I first received the pants, I tried them on and realized that the legs were baggy, but I thought that if I washed them in warm water they would shrink. Big mistake. I should have sent them back. Now having spent the money, I am stuck with a pair of pants that I can't (won't) wear. I can't understand why they ruined a nice pair of pants by making the legs so baggy. I am middle aged and not slim so it's not that I am looking for some sort of 'slimline' pants.
Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Garfunkel Light weight pants.
I have purchased several pair of pants that fit this description. All are made of 6 oz. weight (or less) material and are a fit in both waist and length. I do not like clothes that have to fit by stretch! The perfect pant for me is one with 34w, 30+l and extremely light weight. My preferred color is stone, charcoal or light grey. Have not be able to find any that fit these requirements. I like clothes to hang on my hips, not on a pressure stretch. I really like your clothes and will be back when you have more of the above to offer as you have in the past.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RGarneau Very comfortable
I bought my first pair of these a few years ago and found these pants to be very comfortable and long-lasting. Informal, light easy-moving fabric, and elastic waist all add to the roomy comfort. The eucalyptus color pants appear gray when viewing them online, they are actually green. I'd love to see LL Bean offer a light grey pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DanS Better than the cargo pants imho
Not sure why, but the cargo pants have the comfort waist at the sides. This style has the comfort waist in the back.
I find I prefer these to the Tropic Weight Cargo pants as they just seem to have a cleaner/smoother look not interrupted by the cargo pockets the other style has.
Again a very nice lightweight fabric, very comfortable in moderately cool to blazing hot weather, and works very well for "business casual".

Rated 5 out of 5 by John0177 Tropic weight comfort waist plain front pants
I have purchased these pants many times and love them for year round wear.
Please include a 36 inch length.

The "comfort waist" is a very bulky and uncomfortable elasticized waistband. I tried them on when they arrived and then sent them back. These are nothing like the tropic weight pants available 15 years ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Craboho Old man elastic waist band
I bought several pairs of these pants years ago. I liked the lightweight fabric and they were very comfortable. However, when I ordered them this year they came with that "Old man elastic waist band" in the back. I sent them back. If they didn't have that I'd order 4 pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lacelichen Tropic-Weight for Year-Round!
My husband has always loved your tropic-weight trousers, and was sad when you offered them only as cargo pants for the past several years. He was thrilled to find them once again in this summer's catalog, and asks me to say he hopes they will be back in the Spring. You'll make this Californian happy year-round!
(He doesn't need the comfort-waist, but is willing to put up with it. Cargo pockets, no.)

I loved the tropical weight pants I bought from L. L. Bean a few years ago. The latest pair are an inferior version. The comfort waist band is unsightly and the material is not as comfortable.
