Rated 3 out of 5 by Scooners No drawstring on bottom hem....
I sent this jacket back because of no drawstring on the bottom hem (didn't read description well!) I would have kept it otherwise. As far as I am concerned, a rain jacket is not functional if you cannot seal it off everywhere, including the bottom. It also allows wind to blow into the jacket. I don't like wearing "skirted" jackets when they are supposed to be for outdoors and weatherproof. Otherwise, nice material and nice colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charann GREAT RAIN JACKET
Got this rain jacket after looking at many on various websites and was very happy with my final decision. I got the rain jacket in the Colonial Blue color and just love how great it looks on rainy and non rainy days. I like the overall style, classic yet fully functional. Have worn it several times walking the dog and also at a baseball game on an iffy day. This jacket will be easy to pack and take along on vacations and the quality is definetely there! I have not folded it up into the pocket yet to make it completely portable for tucking into a tote or a handbag and wish LL Bean would include a diagram sheet on how to fold it...just as an some added help to us not to mechanically inclined individuals!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CottageGran Favorite petite find
This is my third discovery rain jacket and my second review for this jacket. The 3 main reasons I love this is because it keeps out every drop of rain, it is the most affordable rain jacket for my budget, and it comes in PETITE! Finally! I have searched for years for a rain jacket I could afford that would fit and look nice for someone who is 5ft. Some of my tops are PXS, but I ordered the rain jackets in PSmall so I could layer and have a relaxed fit? The hood does not blow off. The zipper pockets keep my phone dry, and there's a loop to attach your keys in one pocket! (Just discovered that.) The slight flair at the bottom gives it shape, not boxy. It's just cute! The light blue color is great for spring and summer, and the others match our two teams' colors for sporting events. I've washed one of them three times now and it still looks great! Grab it and go! Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rcdeb THE BEST!
I used to order a competitor's rain jackets but this one far exceeds all of my earlier choices. Ordered in the blue, it is so pretty but functional. It is 100% waterproof but so comfortable and light for Spring/Summer rains. It is cut with plenty of comfort. I was torn between the XS and S but went for the S so I could even fit a sweat shirt beneath, if needed in the Spring.
The material is fantastic and the features of this jacket really perform well. Don't hesitate to try this one. For the price point, it's almost a crime to not own this. It is good for the trails, or just around town. I am so pleased I found this item. Thank you, LL Bean!

by tmon06 Practical, but quite large!
I got this rain jacket to replace an old one whose lining was falling apart! I have not yet worn this in the rain but I trust that it will hold up. I wanted the purple color, but decided to be safe and get black.
I am 5'7" and 135 pounds and the Small is actually quite large on me at the bottom. This is a little annoying since there is no drawstring to tighten the bottom, which would make this more attractive and also potentially better against wind. The sleeves seem to be a good length, though.
Contrary to what some reviewers said, I didn't have any problems getting the jacket into a pocket, although it's larger than it looks in the picture. I have attached my own photo to help.
While I'm not looking forward to the next rainfall, I do look forward to testing this jacket out :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by CottageGran Excellent rain protection
This provides excellent rain and wind protection, and the price fits my budget. I usually order x-small for my tops, but I ordered a small in this jacket last summer so the fit is more relaxed for me and it was comfortable over my fleece jacket this winter. We took a trip this past weekend and spent the better part of two days in the rain, standing in lines, walking everywhere. Not a drop of rain got through this little rain jacket! The hood looked a bit odd when I first saw it, but this design keeps the hood from blowing off and keeps the rain from getting in my face. I do wish the jacket didn't flare out at the bottom but it makes it more comfortable when you are sitting with the little extra room it provides. The lining keeps the jacket from being too hot, so I can use this for all seasons. I've washed it twice, still great. I plan to order another one in our team color for football season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hobbyist4Fun Light, comfortable, rain proof
Five star rainwear in my opinion. Really like the mesh liner and elastic cuffs. Liner is a little cooler than just material next to skin and doesn't cling when pulling on/off. Zip pockets, attached elasticized hood and packable features (folds fairly small and flattens well) are great assets for travel. Since I like color, the mulberry I chose was what I expected based on the color photo. I chose a large because I like a really loose fit and like to add layers for changeable weather, however probably could have been comfortable in the medium. I'm about 5 ft 6 in and an inconsistent 138 pounds, if that helps anyone with sizing. Didn't notice the noise factor yet but wanted waterproof!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Savagegirl Great jacket!
9 years ago I had one of LLBean's light weight rain jackets for summers in the south and LOVED it! I finally had to toss it and found this one to replace it. Although, this one has the inner liner that my other one didn't have, it's still a great fit and will work perfectly for summer showers.
Ordered my mother one in a different color. :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by Missylin Pack Jacket?
It's a wonderful rain jacket, but I really wanted one that would fold up into a pack. The description says it fold up into the pocket, but it's nearly impossible. Despite the fact that they didn't give any directions, I finally figured it out, but it is so tight and scrunched after you jam it in, I will not do it again. Luckily the jacket itself is great and worth keeping.
