Rated 3 out of 5áby tabetai Odd fit, wonky zipper
I returned this jacket, after waiting for months on backorder. It's flattering, but the shoulders fit oddly, making arm movement difficult. It feels too tight in the shoulders compared to the relatively boxy fit of the rest of the jacket. As others have noticed, the zipper is backwards and quite sticky. I don't want to spend 5 minutes fiddling with the zipper every time I put it on.
A few design tweaks and this will be a beautiful jacket. Keep working on it, LL Bean!

I ordered the "revised" LL Bean Quilted jacket thinking they would have made it to flatter me better than their older version...WRONG!!!! This new version is still too bulky, still too boxy. I am 5'4'' and 119 pounds and the Petite XS is huge on me! LL Bean needs to start making XXS sizes or cut their clothing smaller. No woman wants to look fatter than she does and this jacket can make even the skinniest among us look boxy!

Have been looking for a quilted jacket for a while and this one is great. Classic detailing and fits perfectly. Only problem is the zipper. It's backwards and hard to get started. Guess I'll get used to it.

This is a perfect jacket, for when winter jackets are too warm and spring/fall jackets are not warm enough. This jacket in the coral colour is perfect for night time walking as well.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Isom Perfect jacket for me
I have been wearing the older version of this jacket for probably 10 years. I noticed this winter that the sleeves edges were frayed so decided to order a replacement. I certainly got my money's worth on the last one. I first ordered the Regular Large which was the size of my previous jacket. It was too tight in the neck when it was buttoned and zipped up. I would not have been able to wear a neck scarf in the winter. Also, the sleeves were a little snug over a lightweight turtleneck and the sleeves were about 2 inches too long. I have a narrow neck and long arms so the measurements were truly off on that jacket. I reordered the Petite Extra-large. It came today and fits well. The sleeve length is perfect and the neck is roomy. It is a little large through the body but I took it up with the tabs and it looks great on. The petite was still long enough to go to bottom of my hips and I am 5' 5" tall. The jacket is lighter weight than my previous jacket but really I think I will get more use out of it because I can layer when it is colder. It definitely is not rated for the cold weather rating it was given.

I agree with other reviewers, this is a perfect Spring/Fall jacket. It's not warm enough for a Northern winter, but works well with a light-medium layer from 40-60 F. It's a loose fit: you can layer quite a lot here. The arms run long (I have long arms, and these arms are still long), probably so you can roll the cuff and still have adequate arm coverage. The waist snaps on the tighter setting give the jacket a nice shape. The fabric is matte/dull finish, which is great - I prefer that over a shiny nylon look. Good length, long enough that your sweaters won't show below the hem. Very cozy.

I didn't keep this jacket because it wasn't warm enough for what I wanted and having horses, I already have riding jackets of this weight. That being said, I really liked the jacket, it would have been perfect for warm fall or warm spring days....not a winter jacket.
