A couple of years ago, I bought LLBean Travel pants, skirt, shirts, etc., and found the fabric and wear-ability perfect not only for travel but for work as well. These clothes are still in very good condition but fading, so I want to replace them with a similar product. Last year I ordered the indispensable knits. The sizing was very wrong so I had to return the pants and the construction of the top was so poor it had to be returned as well. I tried ordering the pants again a few weeks ago and while the sizing is better in the waist, the pants were too tight across the stomach to look nice. I think the material may just be too thin. These pants had to be returned. The Perfect Fit pants have a tummy control panel which makes them look nicer across the stomach. I do not need that for control, but like the extra coverage it provides. Wish the Indispensable Knits either had the extra coverage or that they were made more like the previous travel collection. Please bring back the Travel Collection!

I found that I never wore these pants, always selecting others before these. I finally realized that I just don't like the fit or fabric. They're short on me, and the fabric is very thin. I wear LLBean slacks exclusively, and all other styles and fabrics are fine. It's just these pants that I don't care for. I will replace them a different selection.

I fell in love with this pants the moment I put them on! The only thing that is missing are side pockets, but for the comfort these pants offer, that's a very, very minor thing (there is a tiny "coin" zippered pocket @ waist). They easily go from day to night! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these!

These are the best knit pants I have ever tried on. The quality of the knit helps to hide body flaws...no clinging and a flattering fit. I would never have guessed that this slightly overweight petite could look good in a flattering knit pant.
My only concern is that the facing at the back of the waistband does not seem to stay flat when I move, but it may be due to my body configuration.

As soon as I put these pants on the first time, I knew I would nearly live in them. They are so comfortable and soft. I have other black pants in my closet, but I keep reaching for this one.

I have no complaints about the fit of these pants. I thought the waist was made well, however, I didn't like the fabric at all. I thought it was thin and I didn't like the feel. The hem at the ankle didn't lay nicely either. It just didn't look or feel like it was worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NorthCentralALGal I LOVE these pants
These pants are SOOO comfortable, and I've now ordered them in three more colors (not received yet). I have the black in Petite Large. I'm 5'4, 160, and they feel comfortable even when I eat too much on rare occasions of eating out, or going to family gatherings where there is always so much wonderful food. With Spring approaching, gonna get out and start walking to take some excess weight off but I think (with the stretchy fabric) they will still be wonderful when I shed some of the extra pounds.

Upon opening the package, I was surprised by how light these are. The lower hem is narrow, and serged on the top of the fabric. I was expecting a more substantial fabric for the price of these slacks. That said, they are comfortable, neither clinging or baggy, and the knees don't stretch out. They are as comfortable as pajamas, but look fine with a tee or overblouse. They will work well for travel, active and daily wear.

I wish I hadn't wasted my money on these pants. When they first arrived, the fabric seemed lovely (draping nicely, soft inside), and the fit was better than most pants. But I needed to alter them like all pants. When I started to do that I realized that the construction around the waist and pockets was crude, the seams were lumpy and ill-behaved, and yet the construction made alterations a major problem. Then I washed them per instructions before shortening, and that was the end of it. The seams got lumpier, the fabric picked up static electricity that I could not get rid of, the pants clung to me in unflattering ways and I could not alter the waist as needed. So I threw them into the pile for the Salvation Army. Very disappointing.
