I was so pleased with the first one, I bought a second in another plaid. The fit is perfect for me, fitted yet roomy enough for comfort.

I bought this in the wild aster. The colors are wonderful
It will be interesting to see how it washes compared to the LLBean wrinkle-resistant oxford shirts I have.

I was able to snag one of the last one of these shirts in the plum violet gingham. I am 5'8" and weigh 135, and a medium fits perfectly! The material weight is typical of a dress shirt. I will get a lot of wear out of this one!

I love the colors added to this seasons poplin shirts! I've already ordered the deep turquoise check and white floral. Even though they are "easy-care",. I prefer to starch them and give them a crisp feel.
I only have one complaint: I wear a size medium and they sell out so quickly that I don't have time to purchase all the colors that I would like. I really wanted the plum-violet gingham also.

Vibrant fall colors, nicely fitting in an XS. I like the contrast detailing at cuff and collar. I suppose I would have preferred a slightly more polished sheen to the fabric but it is still a great shirt.

Nicely made, material is soft, but "small" is not really small. If you are 5'8" and weight 135, I guess you need an extra small. Will work fine as a light layer over a t-shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by westford great shirt!
Fabric: lightweight, yet very fine weave, great strong colors. Fit: less boxy than many LL Bean shirts, so perfect for me. I got a size S and that's my typical semi-fitted Bean size. Length is fine. I'm about 5'6", 130 lbs hourglass shape. Hard part is choosing which patterns.
Note: I also have the 3/4 sleeve oxford shirt, and the S was way too big on that one. Switched it for XS (I am definitely not a XS person.) I think of myself as a Medium usually, but Bean's sizes are generous.

I bought this shirt in a size large. I have several LL Bean shirts in my closet in size large and they fit just fine. This shirt, however, is too big - the sleeves are too long, the collar/neck opening is much too large. Returning it is too much of a hassle, so I will keep it and wear it in the fall and winter with a turtleneck under it, or a sweater over it. I was disappointed in another LL Bean product I bought a month or two ago. It was an item of bedding, not clothing. After at least 40 years as an LL Bean customer, I doubt that I will be your customer in the future.

I lost my head and bought this fresh looking shirt...duty and taxes as well...a size small fits well even though I do have a bust line...there is stretch to the fabric ..it is a well made shirt and the collar is neat with an under facing of plaid on the collar and cuffs..in a check pattern similar to the shirt colour in plums and periwinkle blue. The tiny flowers on the fabric are sweet. I roll the sleeves up now as it is warm. This type of shirt can carry one throughout the seasons, with slacks, skirts and capris. I treated myself to this early, this shirt would be fresh looking for work and play.
