I adore this amazing sweater. It is so cozy and looks sharp enough to wear to work. LOVE!

I bought this sweater, I wore it twice, and already it's pilling. Especially through the underarm area and down the sides where my arms brush against my body. Haven't dared to wash it yet, I'm afraid it will get ruined. I'm going to have it dry cleaned, I suppose. I bought a "sweater shaver", and was told I could use it without voiding the warrantee, I just expected much more time to pass before all this PILLING! It definitely doesn't look like a $100+ dollar sweater after only 2 times wearing it. I'll post a picture soon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by judgeintraining lovely cashmere but proportion is wrong
I love the color and the two-way zipper but the fit is close to the body and the overall length is too long. Perhaps by my ordering a size XL, LLBean assumed that I am 5'10" or so rather than several inches shorter. Hint: I think that most XLs are not taller, just, um, wider. Returned.

This is a beautiful and very practical sweater. It is a quality cashmere and just the right light but cozy weight. I wear it to work and also with jeans. I especially appreciate the 2 way zipper, much more flattering than a tight hemline.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rosa56 Seam at neck tearing after one season
I accidentally gave feedback for the wrong cashmere--the cardigan one, which I do not have in this bright red, but instead, have the cardigan in a warm red.
I have about 8 of these nice, cashmere zip cardigans ( and 2 in the non-zip cardigan) and wear them daily all winter with a light t-neck under. No itching and no sweating, cos of the light layers.
However, the seam at the neckline is pulling away, creating 2 little holes. I fold them when not wearing, as hangers are out of the question for many of my clothing items that can stretch out of shape easily.
Only hot red is available, and I'm not sure what to do, but may call them now to discuss exchange.
I never wear wool, yet these are on the thinner side, and really warming and beautiful. I'll let you know if/when the red one comes to replace it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tipby a big problem
I am returning this sweater (it is my second) even though the new sizing and color are great. After just a few wearings, it looks like
something I got at a thrift store and it so pilled. Quality cashmere should not be doing this. I have used a sweater brush on it but it still looks terrible on the arms and torso. For $159.00, I expect more from LLBean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by ddiniv Great sweater!
Have purchased several of this style over the years. They wash beautifully on the "handwash" cycle of my front loading washing machine.
I'm glad they offer different colors every year.
It's a medium weight cashmere and The only problem is that the elbows tend to wear out.

I have three of these, one of which is a bit small because I ordered the smaller size. I don't like a tight sweater. I love the double zipper. The two I wear a lot have pilled, but I still love them.

I love this cozy zip up cashmere mock turtle - it's my go to sweater on cool nights to walk the dog, but I also put it on with a black dress to go out to dinner. I bought my first last year, and bought more this winter in different colors.
Nice quality - and just what I'd expect from Ll Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LineDancerSwimmer Good quality, perfect fit sweater!
This cashmere sweater is well-made, the cashmere is good quality and the styling is perfect. I like a hoodie-type sweater, so this fits the bill. The colors are also as pictured. This is my second purchase of this sweater, having liked the first one so much, I was back at the computer to order another one in another color.
