Rated 4 out of 5 by Bettina It's just the color
I was looking for something new to begin the summer season next year and this looked good. The style, fit, size and material were all fine, but the color (yellow) was not what I would wear. The on-line yellow (sun) looked fine but the top is more of a dark goldenrod so I knew it would hang on a hanger - always rejected. L.L.Bean usually comes through.

Rated 3 out of 5 by clothesllbean Runs very large
Be aware these shirts run VERY large. The shirts are listed as slightly fitted. However, I would classify it more as baggy or relaxed fit. I normally wear size 0-2 and ordered the XS petite. Based on the listed measurements for the size, it should have been a decent fit. The shirt is at least 2-3 sizes too big!!
The shirt is very soft and the color pretty though different from the color on the website. The color is Emerald Spruce which on the website looks like a green. IN reality, it more like a muted green-blue.
The styling is nice, esp if I could have 3 inches taken in on the sides. Since it is 100% cotton, I am hoping it will shrink to a better fit with a few washes in hot water and dried on high.

I was disappointed with this Pima Crossover top. The size was smaller than your normal sizing for your tops. The color was a bright blue instead of the color on the color chart. I would still recommend the shirt, but if you want a looser fit order next size larger. Also please let customers know where the shirts are manufactured. I prefer American made. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SouthwestSam Love the styling, but ... !
I tried these on in the store and opted for the Petite Small because it fit best (I am usually a petite medium). The length, at 24", was great. But after washing once, the length became 22", and after the second wash, it is 21". The rest of the shirt still fits great. I returned them for a Regular Small (not petite), so that I still like the length after the shrinkage. Otherwise, I really love the styling!

This is a lovely shirt. Great fabric, fit, and color. I wear a 12 and got a medium as I find LL Bean large too baggy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LilRed nice fit, nice fabric
I came online to buy two more of these shirts - the fit is perfect for me and the fabric is silky. I'm a little over 5'3" and small on top, but with "beefy" upper arms. The small regular is a perfect fit. I'm long waisted and the hem hits at hipbone length. The design is perfect to dress up or down. Like others have commented, the pleats at the neckline require some attention in laundering. I just take them out a little damp, press the pleats flat by hand, and hang to finish drying.

Really wanted to love this T - not totally plain but very flexible for any occasion. BUT, those neat little folds at the neck must be ironed every time, EVERY time, you wash it. Had very scratchy tag in side seam. Other than that, great shirt!

Rated 2 out of 5 by DaffodilGirl Too low-cut
A petite large is usually perfect for my proportions, but this top was much too low-cut for me. I would have had to wear something underneath in order to cover up. This is the first L.L. Bean product I've gotten where modesty was an issue; I hate that I had to send it back.

Purchased in blue and black. The neckline is so pretty and dresses up an otherwise plain v-neck. Add a scarf or necklace and you're good to go. S0-soft fabric, wee longer length, 3/4 sleeve made it perfect for traveling. Also bought short sleeve v-neck. Fit is NOT tight but fitted enough to wear something over it. You will love this shirt. True to size.
