Rated 5 out of 5 by Colonialgirl Very soft, well made shirt
I received this shirt (in lavender) today. I tried it on and am very pleased. This is a quality sewn, three-quarter sleeve top. I like the tucks on the v-neck, which makes it just a little different than other shirts. Also, I'm happy that it is not skin tight. I would recommend this shirt to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by sassiebell Very Wide Neck
I ordered three of different colors, all are very pretty . I am 5'5" and weigh about 124, I washed these tops thinking they might shrink, well they didn't and the V is very wide and very low ,I will have to wear a dickie or something that covers up the chest. It probably would be fine on a bigger women with larger breast. i have kept them to wear around the houses ,but was disappointed in how wide the v neck is I should have only tried one and not three as it is a waste of money. The fit was great the colors are nice ,they just need to improve the V neck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sassiebell Shrinkage
I just purchased four of these tops. Colors nice material soft. I always wash items as they have a package smell. I have always worn a Medium in tops, these tops did shrink especially around the chest area.. I have noticed that even my long sleeves prima tees the past several years have shrunk, I can still wear both styles, only thing I will do in future is order a large then they will shrink to a Medium. I have some older Tees that are Supima cotton that has never shrunk, with the change to Prima cotton that is when I noticed a Shrinking problem. If you are going to order any of these tees i would recommend one size up from what you normally wear. Also some reviewers state that the pleats are hard to iron just, straighten out pleats with fingers then put a steam iron over one side at a time and your pleats will not wrinkle.Don't iron back and forth. Or use a ironing cloth between cloth and iron.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gaiza Beautiful tee, problematic neckline
I bought this tee in several colors. The color choices are great & the ones I got are all really nice. Since I am often between a petite xs & sm, I ordered both sizes. At 5'1", 110 lb.s, 36 B, the small was too roomy. The xs fit well everywhere except that it was a little tight across the chest. I remedied that by stretching it a bit when it was damp & hung to dry. After that, except for the neck opening, it fit perfectly. Thanks to a tip by another reviewer, I had no problems with the pleats when I smoothed them out with my hands when the fabric was damp. I love the soft fabric. I would have given this 5 stars had it not been for the crossover v-neck. For one thing, on me, it comes down too low. Since the crossover part is not sewn down at all, every time I move it gaps open partially exposing my bra. I could sew a stitch or two at the point of the v & see if that fixes the problem. It just might. I like the shirt well enough that I may give it a try but, then again, what a hassle. Still undecided whether to keep or not but, with Bean's great return policy, what have I got to lose?!

This top is great quality and fits beautifully, not too loose or too tight.

I love this shirt. It looks great, washes great and is very comfy. I have two quibbles: the layers sewn in around the V-neck got a bit wavey after washing and the sleeves sit right in my elbow.
If the sleeves were 2 or 3 inches longer I'd give the shirt 5 stars. As it is I'm still going to order another in a different color. It's a great casual shirt for work as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TraciJ So comfortable and flattering
This top is 'fluid' - it is very flattering and floats over all the trouble areas. I stayed true to size and was really happy with the fit, the quality of the cotton and the color! Would buy more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by manxcatmom1964 elegant and versatile
I have purchased three of these shirts so far, and will likely buy more if L.L.Bean continues to offer this style (please do!) I recently bought another in a smaller size (M), as I have lost weight. The cream color is particularly dressy and lovely. It's not a bland off-white, it's a rich cream shade. Very elegant. I hope they also offer the china blue color again.
This shirt can be worn casually, but it can also be dressed up easily with a nice skirt and necklace. The fabric is silky but not too thin, and drapes beautifully.
The problem with the pleats is easily solved. I dry the shirt for just a few minutes, then lay it on a flat surface and smooth the pleats down with my fingers. Then I hang the shirt to finish air drying (to avoid shrinkage) They can also be ironed, if you prefer flatter pleats, but this method works fine and only takes a moment.
I highly recommend this product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by toby1701 Sent back already-too low of v-neck
Sent back, this shirt is too low cut for me. Material feels good, but is thinner than I like. Also, color choice needs to be improved. But main reason sent back is the too low v-neck.
