These towels are wonderful and wash up nice and function beautifully!! I really do love them. But! I caution anyone buying them to buy however many you plan to own at the same time. Reason, I bought a couple to try out first at the Freeport store, and proceeded to order more online so I'd have a set of 8-10 but! When the others arrived by coruier a week after I got home from my trip to the store, I noticed that though they are the same color essentially they are a completely different dye lot, and not slightly different, a lot different! very noticeable when they are laid side by each or stacked with the store bought towels. So my two cents here is, definitely buy them they are great but be sure to buy all you need at once....I love LL Bean and am a loyal customer!

I have 3 sets of these towels, slate blue, antique pine, and flint blue. They are the best towels I have ever owned. We like them so much, I ordered 2 set each for our twin grandsons who are going off to college this fall. I bought slate blue with names monogrammed in natural, and warm beige with his name in burlap. They turned out great and can't wait for our grandsons to see them.

We love these towels for use in our camper. They are the perfect size. They are very absorbent and they dry very quickly.

The blue striped towels work better for me. Yes, these textured ones might be better for the kitchen and for frequent use but to me they look too plain and utilitarian for my bathrooms. I had to try them. They are function okay but are not visually what I am accustomed to in my bathrooms,

I bought the bath towel for the gym and am very satisfied with them. They are generously sized, dry well, and take up a lot less space in my gym bag. I highly recommend them for anyone that does not like heavy fluffy towels. These are excellent, just what I wanted. I am very happy that LLBean offers a thin, quick drying towel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jabrn Best towels ever!
Bought these towels to use in Kentucky since it's humid. Love them! They dry you off well, and do dry quickly. Not moldy smelling even after a week of use. Like other reviews have said, they're not thick, plush towels, but they are soft & do what the description says. Great job LL Bean!!

Love these towels...light weight, well made, absorbent, generously sized. Please consider adding grays and a darker green to the color choices.

I'm not sure that I would've ordered these towels if I hadn't first bought microfiber ones to use at the community center. These sounded like they'd be the cotton version of microfiber towels, and that's what they turned out to be--light, thin, quick drying, and generously-sized. The fabric's nubbly texture is pleasant against the skin, and the towels take up considerable less space in the bathroom than the plush variety. As an experiment, I hung them to dry after washing them, and they turned out perfectly, with no matting or stiffness. We ordered the burnished orange, which is a lovely salmon shade. Eventually, we will replace all of our towels with these, I think. More colors, please! And a bathmat in the burnished orange would be much appreciated, too.

These towels are very thin and small. I would not recommend.
