If I could choose a design and sets of colors for pj bottoms, this would be it. If I were comfortable with them sitting below my waist, this would be okay. If I was looking for material that feels a little like my grandson's bathing suit, this would be it. But, this is not for me. And, when I complain that there is not enough rise to most women's bottom wear today, it is coming from a 5 ft., 80 lbs. lady! I can't imagine how regular sized women struggle. These pj bottoms were advertised as "sit at the natural waist." In women, that's not hard to find.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CdnReviewer Weird fit with pockets
I bought a pair of Oceanside sleepwear pants a couple of years and loved them; they're starting to wear out so I ordered a new pair. I hadn't realized that the fabric has changed and there are now pockets! The fabric isn't as soft and comfortable as the previous design. Also, the pockets add a huge amount of bulk to the midsection and not only make the pants less attractive (that's the last place I need more bulk), but also make the pants much less comfortable to sleep in. I'm a bit unclear on why side pockets were added - why exactly would we need pockets for sleepwear?. I was very disappointed with my purchase.

I've had these for several months and really like them. The fabric is crisp, but I don't find it uncomfortable and don't think that it makes too much noise. I actually like that the crisp fabric doesn't wrinkle much and still looks nice after sleeping in it. The print looks even better in person than on the screen.
I have a couple of other pair of lightweight LL Bean pajama pants and I like that this year's versions have added pockets. It's always nice to have a pocket to stash my phone, keys, or whatever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by huixue Cute fabric design, terrible fabric
I don't know what happened when they made these pants. The design is cute (I got the anchor on sale) but the fabric is tough and noisy---almost like you are wearing plastic or some kind of stiff canvas. They are cotton, but I guess not all cottons are made alike. Don't even talk about sleeping in them, I don't think I can stand wearing them around the house. But I can't send them back because my husband already washed them.

I'll second the other reviews that complained about noisy/crispy fabric. These pajama pants make so much noise when I move that I have actually woken my light-sleeper husband with them. They're perfectly acceptable for lightweight loungewear, but I can't recommend them for anyone who wants to get any sleep in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by filumena2 Cute PJ's............
The tiny boats on a sea of aqua are very inviting & comfortable ...Kudos to the designers for the addition of side pockets for the nightwear. They come in handy!...The tiny pocket in the back is not really of any use. Please make some more new prints in the near future....For these pj's are just another great garment from llbean!

These pajama bottoms now have pockets...something the previous batch didn't have. I wear a size 12 so I ordered medium pants...they fit me perfectly. I like the summertime fabric.

I'd admired these cute sleep pants with the adorable prints for years, and finally ordered two pairs this spring in the dog and anchor prints. Unfortunately I am disappointed on several counts. First, I would second the 'noisy crispy fabric' reviews. They are not a soft fabric at all. Second, I really didn't like the high, at-natural waist cut. The crotch is very deep. Turning in bed, they'd ride up so I felt like the waistband was heading up under my armpits. I did try rolling them over at the top which improved the fit, but there was just way too much bulky (and crinkly) fabric for comfort. Adding to the bulk were the extra layers of fabric in the side pockets which on me, stuck out making me look very wide and disproportioned. If it sounds like they were just too big on me, I should mention I am 5'6" and about 138 pounds, and ordered a Small. That is my usual size with L.L. Bean. They were about right through the hips although there was extra fabric across the stomach and thighs. I think I just prefer a soft knit or cotton flannel pyjama which sits below the natural waist line. I have had lots of PJs like this over the years and will stick to that fit. I was disappointed though. On a positive note, they were certainly well constructed as well as being very cute fabrics.

The quality of the fabric is high. I was a little worried they might be snug, but they have just the right pj roominess. The print is really cute with the occasional pink anchors. They are a touch long for me and they have a curve at the outer seam on the bottom, but a little roll of the waistband and they are fine. I like them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Krunix "Crispy" Fabric Negates Comfort
Yes, these pajama pants are super comfortable. They run large as others have pointed out, which makes them loose and comfy for sleeping to my way of thinking. But there's no getting around the loud, crinkly noise the material makes. The label says they're 100% cotton, but the material is not like any cotton I have ever seen, and I would not describe it as soft. They are very crisp and very noisy - qualities I do not appreciate in PJ bottoms. I have tried washing numerous times in hopes the fabric would soften up and lose the crinkly sound, but to no avail. I am not happy with this product and would not recommend buying.
