Ladies, there is that rare moment when you pull on a pair of jeans, and you immediately think, "Ooooh yes, these are going to be MINE." I just had that moment, and these jeans are in the wash right now so I can wear them to work tomorrow. I am a size 8 or 10, and more often a 10 these days--I ordered the 8 (hope springs eternal!) and they were perfect. I bought the straight leg style, too, but they have a higher waist, and they were too tight for me in an 8. A 10 would have been OK. These bootcut jeans were "THE ONES. " As a downside, they are expensive, but as we all know, most of us would sell our souls for a comfortable pair of jeans, so I guess I can deal with the price tag.

These are so comfortable, you can wear these for a long flight. Usually the waist on jeans cuts into me when sitting a long time but not these. They are soft, stretchy, comfy, perfect. Since I've purchased these I rarely wear any other jeans that I own. One downside: the color does rub off on things even after washing. My poor purse has blue all over it. Boo to that. But yay to everything else regarding these jeans.

I love these jeans and I basically live in them. They look good as casual wear, but can also look dressy when you put on a fancy top and heels. I don't believe that they are on sale now for $40. I bought two pairs at $70 each!!!! They are great jeans, though, and I'm glad I tried them,

Probably the most comfortable jeans you'll ever wear.
They're not the classiest or most stylish jeans but if you want comfort, look no further. Perfect for long car/train/plane trips.
But be careful with the sizing, after reading the reviews I ordered the midnight wash down one size and opted for the medium-tall length. I usually wear size 16 regular length but the size 14 is perfect and the medium-tall is actually a bit short on me (I'm 5'7"). Favorite fit looks good on me, so no issues there.
Highly recommended especially at the current sale price. My sister and aunt bought pairs and they love them too.

I read the previous reviews and ordered one size down. That was a mistake. They were too small so I sent them back and ordered my regular size. They are form fitting through the butt and thighs but fit fine. I agree with others who said the waist was too big but a belt fixes that. I've worn them twice and they have not stretched out at all. They still fit just fine. Some reviews said that they were several sizes larger by the end of the day. I have not had that problem at all. They are extremely comfortable and look just like dark wash jeans to me. I do have one snag in them already. I think they came with the snag but so far I haven't gotten any more. I'm not worried that this will be an issue. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Even though these are the best jeans I have ever had, I have had to play games with LLBean. I have ordered and returned. Ordered several more, and returned some. The sizes were all out of whack! I had 3 pair of midnight blue, size 14 reg. Two were fine, one was tight and short. That went back. I ordered two pair of black; one pair M/T and one regular. The M/T was shorter than the regular length. That went back. Anyway, thanks to LLBean's great return policy, I now have four pair of the most attractive, comfortable jeans, and they fit great, even after washing. Worth the price, too.

I got these jeans on sale so my size selections were limited. I am 5'6", 135 lbs and normally wear LL Bean size 10 jeans in medium tall. I read the reviews to order a size down and I am glad I did. The legs are comfortable but not too baggy and I do not get those baggy knees after sitting in them like most knit pants. I washed them before wearing as recommended and they came out of the dryer nicely without needing any ironing. These jeans are extremely comfortable but still look nice enough to wear out for casual dinners and outside activities, plus are nice to travel in. My only complaints are the waist is a little loose which makes the jeans droop a little on me at times, the pockets are a bit shallower than my normal jeans, and the length is a little bit longer than the usual medium tall pants. The medium length was not available at the sale price so I kept these hoping they may shrink after more washings.

Every time I wear these jeans someone says, "You look terrific."
Amazing what a pair of well cut pants will do for one's figure!
I did have to go down 2 sizes from what i usually wear at Bean in jeans, but they fit perfectly. I am 5' 71/2" and I ordered the Med Tall. I also have a pair in straight leg and they aren't a "Wow" but good. These pants are also terrific in the winter, because they don't get cold against your skin. I am ordering another pair today.

This favorite fit version of the comfort knit jeans were perfect for me. The new 'replacement' classic fit were too high waisted and snug through the wiast area for me. They were no longer comfortable and a little too much of a 'mom jean' for me. Please,please , please bring these back.
