So much classier looking than most other fleece garments. Careful, the sleeve length is long. I have to roll up the sleeves which looks tacky. I'm a 34-35 length so not short and still have to roll them up.
Otherwise, a great, quality jacket. Looks terrific and so soft and warm. Typical Bean quality, great company!

Quality very good but I'm 6'2" 180lbs and I was swimming in a Large. I would have ordered a medium but the sleeves would have been too short.

Rated 5 out of 5áby 5Shots1Hole Great jacket. Features that I love!
A nice looking jacket that fits and performs well.
1) Sleeve length. Other reviewers have commented that the sleeves felt too long. I disagree. I ordered mine in a large/tall. As a 6? 4? ? 200 pound man that takes a 36/37 sleeve, this coat is awesome. I can drive my truck with my hands at 10 & 2 o?clock and the sleeves still reach the ends of my wrists. This is my favorite part of this jacket. If the sleeves get in your way, (eating, etc.) just push ?em up your forearms. They stay back well.
2) Comfort. Cozy warm. The inside is so soft it feels like baby angel eyelashes against my skin. Breathes well. Cut for freedom of movement. Roomy enough for something underneath.
3) Zipper. Operates easily with no snagging on material. No silly double zipper pull that takes 3-4 tries to line up to get it to work.
4) Performance. Blocks wind well for a fleece. Traps heat well. Outside is smooth. Repels debris like chain saw chips much better than normal fleece.
5) Appearance. Deep rich color. Cut nicely.
None so far. I even wear it inside like a heavy sweater as well. I think I?m going to order another one in a different color. One thing to note: as with any synthetic, keep this jacket well away from fire/sparks. That?ll melt it faster than a Popsicle in July.

I bought this men's jacket, even though I am a gramma, not a grampa. This is the best fleece I have ever had. I don't even want to take it off. I love the longer sleeves and there is a very nice cuff colour, so turning up the sleeves looks good. I will be getting another shortly in the brown. I have had many people say the jacket is very nice. I have been wearing it with a bean vest and it is fine. I hope that it will last a good long time, I have washed it and it comes out just fine! Good quality and comfort are 2 of my favourite things!

This jacket keeps me so warm all winter. I wear it every day and
I would tell everyone to get at least one. I own several and now
have TALL ones as well. Great looking and a truly fabulous
zipper. Love the long arms that I can turn up to any length. It
definitely looks like it cost a lot more money than I paid for it. It
is my most favorite jacket and I have high standards. Please
do not discontinue this one!

Rated 3 out of 5áby NorthVA Ok, but nothing special
This item runs large and the sleeves are very long. The fabric is stretchy and surprisingly light weight. It's not a technical fabric designed for wind or water resistance. So it's not particularly warm and does little to stop the wind. It can serve as an alternative to a light fleece that can be had for less than $20, so I wouldn't say this item is worth the money.

I used this a week ago in Boone, NC while I sat in the stands and watched Wofford beat App State. Great game and great jacket. It was cold and I layered underneath as I sat in the stands nice and toasty. Plenty of arm room for sweaters etc. Nice finish and it appears well made. I got it wet too and no problems.

Great jacket but the sleeves are too long. You either have to cuff them or hem them. Elastic would have been better at the cuffs like the old styles.

Rated 4 out of 5áby FromtheValley Great the second time around
Jacket is very nice, I like the weight, a little heavier than some fleece. Only problem was, that I had to return the first one I bought due to an unstitched seam.
This is becoming a trend with LL Beans imported products. I've given up on Polo shirts due to quality issues.

Originally ordered a Large, but had to exchange for a Medium because it was too big. I'm 5'11 175 lbs and even the Medium is baggy. Also, the sleeves and wrist openings are HUGE. You would literally need to have the world's largest hands to fill them and the sleeves hang awkwardly around your hands and not at the wrists. Way too much material in the sleeves and wrists area. LLBean, PLEASE draw these wrists in tighter. It makes me feel like this jacket swallows me because every time I want to use my hands I have to pull the sleeves up.
Very comfortable and warm. Love the brown color. But I would not purchase again because of the issues listed above. (Wish I could exchange this for an updated product instead of just ordering a new size...)
