You asked us to update these popular trousers and we listened – adding wrinkle resistance and a bit more weight for a smoother drape. They're still entirely appropriate for year-round wear because they wick moisture to help you stay dry on warmer days and comfortable when the temperature drops. Plus, they exceed our rigorous standards for shrink resistance, so you can count on them remaining true to size. Tailored details include custom inseams, a fully lined French fly for a smooth appearance and coin catches in the front right pocket. Classic Fit is our trimmest cut, with traditional straight legs. 6 oz. wool. Imported. Dry clean.

Rated 3 out of 5�by JzBean Changed, now about verage Have a couple of pairs of these now, but was only hoping for the older higher quality pant. The fabric is not as high quality, is now a stiffer coarse wool, less comfortable and does not lay well. The cut of pleat is also different, maybe because of the fabric thickness, and result for me is not a high quality fit. These are sort of an average wool pant, you can probably find something similar or better locally, similar price as these are on sale. May 4, 2013

They have "substance," a good drape, and look like a very high quality garment. The kakhi color is right on, and it works well with tweeds. Love them. April 11, 2013

Interesting to note the waist now closes only with a botton - in the past, the same pants had (like most) a metal clasp and a button. This omission must have saved a few pennies, but gives a feel of cheapness. April 3, 2013

However, the measuring guide was way off - suggesting a 29inch inseam. A 29 inch inseam would have been way too short. I guessed and ordered 33.75 inch inseam which was a bit too long. I would suggest one be careful relying too heavily on the pant length measuring guide on the website! April 3, 2013

The wool is heavier and living in the north can be worn comfortably most of the year. Just bought my second pair! March 28, 2013
