Rated 2 out of 5 by Deafman Major Design Flaw but Very Warm
I received these as a gift for my birthday, but after trying them on, I noticed a major problem: the shoulder straps would not stay on unless tightened to the max, and then they would often slip off as you bent forward to kneel or crouch. The suspenders were not crisscrossed in the back, so only a person with VERY wide shoulders could keep them on, especially underneath an overcoat or waterproof over layer.
I tried crisscrossing them, but then the front pocket area was twisted out of shape, so that did not work either. Also, while the front hand warmer area seemed like a good idea, it could only be used if there was no overcoat -- i.e. it would never be used if it was really cold outside.
I liked that they were warm and nearly a full body suit, but the poor design of the suspenders meant that only a few men could wear them without worrying about them slipping off all the time. Even an elastic belt attachment between the suspenders in the back area might have solved the problem, but it would take two people to get the bibs on, so...
I had to send them back. What a shame. They felt really warm. Seems like the problem with the suspenders should have been obvious from the start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Foureyes Great fit.
After the nasty winter we had last year I would try to beat the weather by being prepared and this seemed like the best way ti go. Now I can hardly wait until I can try them out.

These bibs were great for deer hunting in Maine this year. They were very warm and comfortable during pretty cold weather. They were as waterproof as I need them. I put away my wools and plan use these instead cause they aren't as heavy. All the guys at camp want them so expect upcoming orders for them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BeaverBrook Poorly designed "insulated" bibs
Tested these bibs while stand hunting last weekend. Temps were in the 30s in the morning and there was a slight breeze. I wore 2 baselayers + jeans under these and I froze. There should be more insulation in the rear of the bibs and in the knees, since those parts bend when sitting in a blind or stand and the insulation compresses thus doesn't work as well. Also, how the bibs stop in the back like a pair of pants, allows for too much heat loss. These would probably work okay for walking around, but so would most bibs that are a lot less expensive. These are going back. I'm really disappointed because I wanted to like them.

Haven't worn them yet (it's August) but there is no doubt they will be warm. I own other similar hunting outfits from L.L.Bean. I am very impressed with the quality and fit. They fit perfect and true to their size. Lots of pockets. Also, the front zipper is great so you don't have to take off the whole bib to go to the bathrrom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ME45 great, love them
They are warm, comfortable, easy to put on, great fitting, and soft, durable material. Really like them a lot, however the snap on one leg came off after only three times wearing them.
