Rated 5 out of 5 by Kenny1 Greatest long underwear ever
I absolutely recommend this product. Living in below zero for months this year this long underwear is the most comfortable and warmest I have ever bought. I own two of the primaloft insulated jackets as well and am very pleased and impressed with the light weight low bulk packable usefulness of the products where primaloft is used . I even wear them under casual dress pants. COMFY / Warm.

I had long underwear like this 50 years ago and these remind me that sometimes the old ways are still the best.

Only men's available, but that's okay, fit was good. Very low bulk, so fit well under slacks. Zipper tends to get stuck, but so far has been easy to fix. Finding washing instructions was a challenge, then reading them an additional challenge. Very cozy in the worst weather. Too bad they are so pricy, but glad they were available.

I work at a ski resort and spend eight to ten hours a day standing in the cold. These insulated long underwear are perfect. They keep me warm and are very comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone who spends time outdoors in the winter.

Great layer under wool hunting pants, the elastic hem fits into rubber boots very well. Very warm and not bulky, highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CherylPWV My 85 yr old Dad refers to these as his HOT pants
Thank you LLBean for long underwear that is just perfect for my 85 yr old Father. He just called today to say if I order anything from LLBean in the next few weeks, get him another pair of those hot pants! He may be 85, but he's still active and outdoors a lot. Wears long underwear though October thru May in WV. I worried about the thermal kinds that could get wet with sweat and then end up keeping him cold instead of keeping him warm, because he wasn't going to change clothes until the day and the work was done!
When I first showed these to him, he said he didn't think they'd be warm because of the slick fabric and light weight but tried them on anyway then decided to keep them and now that the weather has turned much colder, he is completely sold! The slick fabric makes them very easy to pull on/off and makes it much easier to pull pants/overalls over them. The fleece bottoms keep them snugly down without bothering his circulation. In other words, they were the perfect gift.

I got these to go under my waders for swinging to Steelhead. Used them for 3 days on the Klamath air temps ranging from 40 to 60. They were too warm at 60, but I didn't get cold at all.
I worn Capilene 2 as my base layer. Moisture was not a problem. They don't stick to the inside of the waders which improved comfort and range of motion. The tapered ankle area was great for fitting in the waders stocking foot.
Normal chilly backside when sitting on a cold wet seat in the boat between runs as the insulation compresses.

Wore for the first time and was very pleased with them - mainly due to the lightweight thin profile PrimaLoft provides, the feel of the material and especially like the fleece bottom part. They are adaptable for fit under a wide variety of pants, not as thin as a regular base-layer, but more compact than a down base layer.
Happy with the warmth provided and the windproof ability. The nylon shell smooth finish does allow easy on/off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RJK1 Warm, light, comfortable
I have two Bean Ascent Jackets with the Primaloft One insulation and love them. They are light, extremely warm and really block the wind. I'd been wanting some down long underwear, however, when I saw these with the Primaloft Sport insulation I figured I'd give them a try. They feel very much the same as the jackets as far as insulation and material. The large fit my 38" waist, 6', 200 pound frame perfectly. I'm beginning to really like some of the newer insulation, especially for outdoor activities with their "insulate when wet" abilities.
