I wish all of the people who gave this shirt a bad review for being longer than all the rest of the shirts Bean makes would delete their reviews and buy one of the other shirts. Some of us like longer hems and have a hard time finding them. I am so glad Bean offers options like this shirt.

As soon as I passed 40 I started to feel like covering up more. This tank makes me feel nicely covered. No bra strap display, no accidental cleavage shows, no visible roll of underarm fat! Yet it still feels like a nice summer sleeveless top. I bought navy and plan to get two more colors. I am size 10 and medium fits great, after a wash. I am long waisted and the length suits me very well (I don't like it when tops are too short).

I bought two of the Double Layer Tank Tops. I take an XS with all of LL Bean tops. So I thought with this I'd have no problem. I was wrong. I compared it to the regular Tank Top I get from LL Bean which is the Pima Knit Tank Top TK258950. The sides measured 11/2 inches wider on the Double Layer Tank Top and the length was even worse. It was 3 inches longer. I would say that the XS is more like a Medium. I thought that the Double Layer Tank Top would just be thicker material The Double Layer Tank Top is two layers of cloth sewn on top of each other but each layer moves independently. Sorry to say I will have to send mine back . The one good thing about the Double Layer Tank Top is that the material is very soft and comfortable and looks like it would wear well. I still love LL Bean. I just got something that wasn't right for me. As always I'll still continue to shop regularly at LL Bean.

I have been looking for a nice tank top for months now. The double layer tank wears well and is extremely comfortable with nice coverage in the front. After being washed and dried in the dryer, the tank top came out looking great. Looks nice for casual wear or the office. I ended up buying several colors. Thank you LL Bean! Please keep this tank as a regular item in your inventory!!!!

I loved this fabric and had really high hopes for this top. The neckline bunched up badly on me even with mild activity. The armholes were too big. I tried to love it but the fit was just not right for me. I ordered my size but this just seemed to be way too large. Returned both of mine.

I really like the double layer (front only, which is fine) and the slightly longer length is flattering too. However I ordered two different colors in the same size and one was too small so had to send it back, which was too bad (the last two colors available!). I will hope that they come back in more colors!

I got this in white and wear it often. It is not your typical tank, but offers much more support and looks great under a cardigan. It washes well and is very comfortable.

This tank was a nice wardrobe basic, but the cut was not flattering on me and the neckline too high. the fabric and color were very nice, tho. Just not that useful for me; I sent it back.
