Rated 5 out of 5 by Marg1 Long, lean waterproof gloves.
These gloves seem to be a perfect fit for my daughter! The gloves are constructed of a thin material, allowing you to feel small things and have the ability to move your fingers well with control with fine tasks ie: using your camera. They are waterproof, though they do not retain the heat as well when wet. The fingers are long and slim and the reflective material is fun.

These gloves were a little lighter than I expected but I think they will do the job of keeping my hands warm and dry on cool rainy days. Had a pair of gloves slightly thicker but with some other material on the palms that I bought for kayaking but the palms get soaked in rainy weather and make the gloves useless in those conditions. These gloves allow for great dexterity and should keep my hands dry.

well, in truth, they look a little ridiculous, but the problem is you can't get them off without pulling on each finger or they come off inside out and then it takes a real effort to right them. not recommended

Great gloves, small size fit perfectly for this petite 50ish woman. They fit snug which is good for kayaking. They kept my hands warm for a winter paddle even when wet. I love the fit & warmth, so I don't mind that when removed they turn inside out. They are easy to turn back. The gloves feel like a wet suit for your hands. I recommend them, especially if you have a problem finding a pair of gloves to fit small hands.

I bought these gloves thinking I could use them on my touch screen items but the silver palm padding is made for that purpose, and as I try to remove them to answer a call it was very difficult to remove them. They are warm and do keep the outside moisture from entering but the inside sweat is a problem, there is no way for sweat to escape. If possible I will exchange them for another product.
LL bean is a wonderful company and most of its stock is man made and I will loyaly support them. Thank you for the quality of our us made products and your great staff online at at the stores I have visited.

Waterproof and air tight, the only way to get these out is pull the gloves inside out. I blow hard inside and blow out the fingers to get them right side out again. These gloves excel as a driving glove. However, as my hands perspire in the airtight gloves, the frigid cold we've had lately has caused my hands to chill. Perhaps as a liner, these would be better. I already need an XXL so finding a glove bigger to put over this one would not be easy.

I purchased 2 pairs for 2 sons who are paramedics in COLD Pittsburg, PA. They love 'em. They are flexible, impervious to liquids and the boys love them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by OhioDiana Glove for wet, cool days or as a liner glove
I originally bought a pair of these gloves for kayaking, thinking they would work for cooler days in place of my fingerless paddling gloves. They are close fitting, which is great for dexterity, but do not have any addition padding in the palms, so they didn't work out well for paddling as a stand alone glove. This winter I've been using them as a liner under insulated or fleece gloves. They kept my hands dry and warmer then just the outer gloves in temps below 10. I've also worn them on cool, wet days alone with good results. They are sized small (I usually wear a women's glove size 6-7 and a XS/S just fit). They also can be a challenge to get off.

I'm not sure how these have managed this long ithout a glowing review, so here goes.
Despite the expense, which is nearly the same as their NRS equivalents, these gloves are thin and waterproof and warm.
They're difficult to get off without just turning them inside out, but this is a testament to how thin they are. They give me plenty of warmth for autumn paddling but still have enough dexterity to zip my vest, use my camera, and secure my spray skirt.
The grip is great and they are virtually seamless. I've used them up to two hours without any blisters.
The only complaint I do have is that there is no way to clip these together. I'm notorious for losing a glove and when they are this expensive, having only one will be a disappointment.
