Rated 5 out of 5 by osang828 Great water bottle
I love both the wide mouth and the narrow mouth versions of the LLBean water bottles. To compare the two, the WIDE mouth is not as bulky --it holds only 14 oz and is only 2.5" in diameter so it fits even in my bag's front pocket, plus the inside bottom is easier to clean. However, it is difficult to drink from it if you are in a moving car as the liquid could spill all over your face and could block your view of the road if you are the one driving (one can always drink when the car is stopped but I'm just throwing that comment out for information). This NARROW mouth holds 16 oz and is 3" in diameter, still fits in my more spacious bag but the inside is a little tricky to clean. This one I can drink from while driving unlike the wide mouth version. Both bottles have good seal, no leakage whatsoever. Very sturdy and durable.

I use it mainly around the house and in the yard instead of a drinking glass ? no spills and no pets taking sips when I?m not looking. I like the narrow mouth, it's easy to clean, and the 16 oz is perfect for my needs. So far it has not leaked; very pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CampnHike Just the right size
I've had water bottles that would fall out of the side pocket of my day packs because they were too tall and/or too skinny. That would happen if i were to bend over to tie my shoe or even to take my pack off my back. This bottle is the perfect girth and height to not fall out. Also, I prefer this size mouth opening over the wide ones. Love the green color also!

We buy these bottles every year or so. They work well and do not leak. Was recently disappointed by the "spring green" narrow mouth 16 oz bottle, which shows a bright green bottle and black lid, but the bottle that came is a yellow green with yellow green lid. Ugly. We'll keep it, because it will work fine, but do not like the color-- it is definitely not like shown on LLBean's website.

I've been using this exact same narrow mouth Nalgene water bottle for over ten years now. It's so old that all the measurement lines are worn off, as is the raised print on the bottom of the bottle. But the bottle itself is still going strong! I'm still using the *original* cap with its original attachment loop, by which I carry the bottle around. This bottle has been dropped, kicked, stomped, lost and found again. Since my bottle is covered in stickers, I don't put it in the dishwasher but it's still very easy to clean with some dish soap and hot water. The bottle is best used for drinks that are okay at room temp.

I love these bottles. Like the narrow mouth so I don't spill. The squat shape fits nicely in the backpack side pockets. Love the fact it holds more than 16oz. That's very important here out in the desert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MattG The best reusable water bottle you can buy.
I have used these bottles everyday for over 1 year, and they have worked great. No leaks or cracks. I put them in the dishwasher each night. In the summer I even put them in the freezer. Most durable reusable water bottle hands down.

This is my third narrow mouth 16oz Nalgene bottle. It's the right size, the right fit for drinking, seems to hold up to moderate wear and tear.
