I expected a bit more fitted/feminine cut from this hoodie since it's described as "slightly fitted." I'm 5'0" 125 lbs 36DD; ordered a misses medium but had to exchange it for a small. The length was fine in the medium, just the body was huge. I would consider this more of a classic to relaxed fit.
I like the fabric a lot. It has a nice drape to it.
There is a nautical stripe on the zipper pull and on the inside trim around the neck, which I didn't see before ordering (if you zoom in on the photo you'll see it).

I bought every color of this hoodie and they are my "go to" light wrap during transitional weather. I wanted to buy the striped version but was concerned about the stripes matching (they don't on the model)-maybe I will try one next year.
PS: would like more colors + black in this hoodie

I like this spring/summer-weight terry hoodie as long as I keep the zipper zippered. Otherwise it drapes terribly, looks sloppy, and folds open so the "insides" (seams, stitching, etc) are very noticeable. I don't think I'd buy it again.

I love the fit and the style of this jacket. The weight is EXACTLY what I needed in a spring/fall jacket. Just love it.
Think the terry lining is not as soft as it should be.
Would like additional colors...but keep the blue and pink!!

I ordered this hoodie after reading other reviews, so I knew what others thought was wrong with it. I loved the trillium red color and silky feel of the fabric, but when I tried it on I found the fabric was too clingy to my body. That is not what I want in a jacket, even a lightweight one. Women who don't mind the clingy fit should like this hoodie. I will be returning it.

I bought this hoodie in solid white to replace a favorite that was ruined. Unfortunately, I don't think it will become a new favorite. I was disappointed with the terry fabric (instead of a soft cotton feel) and the thin, see-through material (maybe the other colors will be less see-through). You can clearly see whatever you are wearing under the sweatshirt (the striped shirt I paired it with didn't look very good). On a positive note, the fit was great. I am usually a 6 and the small fits perfectly. The length was good too - not too long or too short. Needless-to-say, I did not return it, because of the low price. Hopefully LL Bean will come out with a more substantial hoodie next spring.

My package has just arrived. I chose the trillium red with some trepidation but glad I did now I see it in real life. It is not a hot winter red but still has depth and vibrancy. i would consider it a neutral. Well made and all a person can ask for in a summer weight hoodie. I usually wear a medium across the board in llbean's clothes. This fits like a large. I will keep it as it offers me plenty of room to wear a tee underneath. If I order again I shall however consider ordering a small. Overall I am satisfied my money was well spent.

I bought this in 3 solid colors. It has been great. I love that is a little big so I can wear it over layers since it is still cold here. It washed well and very comfortable. The length of the jacket is good too - not too short.

Love these hoodies - I bought 3 in solid colors. The colors are muted but not dull. They wash well - I hang to dry. Very soft and light. I normally wear a 16 and the XL fits a bit loosely which is exactly what I wanted. I may buy a striped one now.

I have the solid peach color and it is great! I have worn it so much, the fit is fine for me. It is the perfect weight for Texas, I would buy more if it was offered in pastel colors that were in stock. Love the feel and fit. It has been washed many times and it still looks like new!! I love it!
