I'm an 8-1/2 medium. I expect deck shoes to fit comfortably with no socks, but these wouldn't stay on my feet without socks, so I've returned them without wearing. "Quality" was good, but style/appearance a bit dated, average, clunky. I'm sure they're serviceable, but I can get better-fitting, better-looking ones for the same or lesser price by shopping around----tho I do prefer the convenience and durability of most LLBean purchases.

Another LLBean shoe I love! First I purchased the canvas deck shoes, wanted more colors and went back and found this great shoe. Very supportive, true to fit and comfortable. I wish they had them in white - not antique white, which is a little pinkish in the canvas deck shoe, but a true white would be nice.

I love this shoe. It is true to size, but at first I thought I should have gone a half size larger. One walk around the room and my foot settled comfortably into the 6 1/2 I usually wear.
I bought the blue and with the slight color variations these shoes will go with any pair of jeans I have. I also bought the wide, afraid they would be too big. They are perfect. Wide was just what I needed because I'm no spring chicken. My regular shoes still fit but this gives me a shoe I can wear without my feet barking at me. This is an all around great shoe!

I normally wear a size 6 or 6 1/2 B. Based on reviews, I bought a size 6 B. They fit perfectly. I have a wide foot but not wide enough to warrant the wide size. These are made wide as even ordering a 6 vs a 6 1/2 I have extra room to wear a sock. They will definitely be just perfect during the humid summer months when my feet swell. They are very cushiony, with a good arch, good sole, and well constructed. I'm sorry they are out of the red colour as I would order another pair.

These shoes fit great and are good quality, but I ordered the Antique white color thinking that they would be closer to off-white than they are. They are more of a light tan canvas flecked with some darker colored slubs of brown - kind of canvas colored. If you are looking for an off white, don't order - these look like they are soiled right out of the box.

I saw these on sale and purchased them spur of the moment, so glad I did. The are really cute, I ordered the antique white and was worried I might not like it in person, but was pleased once I saw it. Last fall I ordered the lace up in an eight and half, medium and they feel just a little too narrow, however the slip on seem to run just a little big, worried they may stretch out too much, yet think they are so cute I'll use inserts if need be. I haven't really been able to test them out because we still have snow on the ground, but thinking they will be perfect for the boating season. I may have to order these in red too.

I bought this pair because your lace up version in the Antique White color is so comfortable and because the shade of red is nice. They look great with jeans and are perfect for casual wear.

I live in florida and only wear socks in the winter and with my athletic shoes. Also I never go barefoot but like to slip off my shoes when I am sitting. These deck shoes are perfect for my needs. They are very comfortable without socks, slip on and off quickly and provide very nice cushy support for my old legs and feet. I wear them every day. After I had them for a while I put them in the washing machine and a short run in the dryer. As others have said they seem to fit a little better after washing but I suspect it is because they softened a little and conform to my heels better, not because they shrunk. Because I have trouble finding casual shoes that provide enough support, and these do, I just ordered another pair.
