After reading other reviews I felt this would be the shoe for me as I have a very narrow heel but need some width in the toe area. I ordered a half size up since everyone indicated they ran small. Glad I did, but the fit is perfect. They are not only comfortable but VERY warm. Even though they are a low-top shoe my feet haven't gotten cold once. Only problem is I cannot walk in deep snow in them. But they have an excellent grip and have held me steady in some pretty bad conditions. Glad I bought them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LeighL I've walked for miles in my Merrells
I walk everywhere and, accordingly, my shoes take a lot of abuse. I've never ordered shoes online or by mail, needed a new pair fast and so felt safest sticking with what I know. This is my third pair of Merrells and my second of this particular model, which I've come back to after buying the waterproof ones last year. They fit comfortably, right out of the box, with no real break-in period (which I did experience a bit with the waterproof pair). I've been getting about a year out of Merrell Siren Sports, and again, that's with daily wear.
I'm not generally a brand loyal person but have been so happy with Merrell and their Siren Sport line that I do recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by suzr great shoe but...
I loved this shoe though am sending it back.
It is more suitable for a trail surface and not a hardscape surface like asphalt or cement--I was hoping it would work for both.
The merrell soles last forever and that was why I chose these however the walking on a hard surface was not comfortable.
Also my toe tends to wear a hole in the toe of shoes without extra protection and this shoe has that toe shield.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming hike as I didn't have anything suitable. I assumed some break-in period as I have a troublesome bunion and these are stiffer than shoes I normally wear. It did take about 3 days and thicker than normal socks, but now the shoes are good to go. If I wouldn't have this issue, there would have been no break-in period. These really look good - love the colors. I'll be ordering another pair.

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. This is my second pair after my dogs thought the first pair would make a nice lunch. The color choices are great for the outdoors woman who still pretty girly. I will definitely recommend them to everyone! Wish they made this style for kids!

This was my fourth pair of these shoes, so you know I must love them. I wear them to walk daily and occasionally use them for hiking. I mainly wear my Merrell boots for hiking though.
Merrells are the most comfortable shoes/boots I have ever had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AvidHikerandCamper Good, comfortable dayhiker shoe
I like Merrell shoes and boots as they fit my narrow heel and normal to wide toes. These fit well, are true to size and have a good grippy sole for hiking on damp trails or wet rock. These will be my third pair as I hike several hundred miles a year and the one drawback is they do not last as well as a heavier duty hiking boot.

My third pair. Only the soles wear out; the tops stay looking good as new. Lighter weight sneaker is perfect for summer. I did order a half size up this time. Old feet?

Great shoe would only give it another star if it had a bit wider toe box, but otherwise it's been perfect for summer walks and hikes.
