I'm 5'7" and I would have liked them @ 1" shorter. As they are, they hit me right at mid-knee. Other than that, they fit perfectly and are really, really comfotable and soft. May 30, 2013

The length is good - my purpose in wearing clothing is to cover, not uncover; they are modest but not frumpy. The waist is nicely in proportion to the rest of the garment - can sit down for long stretches such as when driving. Will likely get another pair in another color. May 29, 2013

I love the fit of these Bermuda shorts, perfect for the 'not so perfect' shape and great looking for someone who still works and is over 60. In the summer our work style is relaxed and these are perfect! Bought two, one in white and one in red. May 29, 2013

They were so large I could take them off over my hips without opening the button & zipper. They are cotton and I wondered if they would shrink enough to fit. Instead, I decided it was best to return them. Except for fit, the shorts were fine, I liked the white color and the fabric quality. It's times like this when I wish the L.L. Bean store was close enough to go into the dressing room and try them on in person. May 22, 2013

They fit well on someone who likes a slim fit through the hips and thighs without alot of loose fabric in those two areas. This is not to say that the fit is "tight". It is true to size. The Favorite Fit offered by LL Bean is usually a very reliable way for me to order shorts, pants and other items and know that the fit will be a good one. LLBean's sizing guidelines are very accurate for these shorts in particular. The fabric is comfortable and sturdy and will wear well I'm sure. I will be ordering these shorts and a pair of pants in one or two of the other colors available. May 9, 2013
