Rated 5 out of 5�by Pokeyclown Merry Janes Never liked the idea of an adult woman wearing Mary Janes. But these cuties melted my tiny little heart. So I simply renamed them ?Merry Janes?. Afterall, as the very 1st reviewer said on March 7, 2013, these are ?happy shoes? and ?so cheerful to wear?. It?s true. Choose the ones that make you smile. Both? This size 6 is much longer and wider than a true size 6. So I wear little sockettes with them, and wear them to the doctors' since they?re easy to slip in and out of. For longer treks I hope to use their roominess to my advantage by inserting my orthotics, which need the extra room. Would prefer an adjustable strap and hope the fixed strap relaxes over time. If not, I?ll continue to wear them without my orthotics. The arch support makes them super comfortable. Yes, these shoes make you smile, and smiling is good for your health. Some people say ?cheese? to put a smile on their faces. But when I want to smile, I say ?these, please!? There, - a double smile! May 20, 2013

The outer shoe length at the Keen tag are not the same measurement: left shoe 2 3/4" right shoe 2 7/8" which causes the right shoe to rub a blister on my ankle bone. I have had to put heel lifters in shoe. Not my first pair of Keen's. May 6, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by momroth Cute but run large These are so cute but run large. I normally wear a 7.5-8 and the 7.5 was pretty big. I kept them because they are comfortable and I felt the 7 would hit the back of my foot wrong. They fit perfectly with socks but my feet slide around a bit barefoot. April 15, 2013

Shoes are comfortable, ordered my usual size - 71/2M - and fit is just right, with or without socks. I already got a compliment the first time I wore them. There would have been 5 stars - and they deserve 5 stars - except for the smell. The rubber (or whatever material is on the inside sole) smells bad! March 21, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by lovingeachday keen harvest mary janes these mary janes are definitely "happy" shoes! they are so cheerful to wear! i bought them to use this summer, but they were so happy-looking sitting on my closet floor, i put on socks today and am wearing them to brighten up this cold, snowy winter day. they are SO comfortable; nice arch support. i only gave them a 4 instead of a 5 rating because (1) the strap is NOT adjustable (i thought it would be a velcro closure, but it is stitched and cannot be adjusted) and (2) the shoes are rather wide and are loose-fitting if worn without socks. i thought about returning them, but they are such "happy" shoes and they make me feel each day's "sunshine," so i decided to keep them. they also seem very well-made--in keeping with ll bean's quality! March 7, 2013
